Is this Show Available on DVD?
November 12, 2009This was one of the best adult dramas on TV in the last ten years. Alan Arkin never disappoints, and in 100 Centre Street, he was in top form. I don't remember the name of the actor who played his friend and political opposite, the African-American woman judge, nicknamed "Attillah." However, their friendship, their mutual respect for each other and for the law they upheld from different perspectives created the moral center of 100 Centre street. I couldn't wait to see each episode, and even watched them on A&Es "second showing," when I could.
If the series is available on DVD, I'm buying it for my film library because of the fine acting, the fine writing, and the way the show caught something of the "street" in its stories and characters, both major and minor.
