Watched all 24 in 72... Wow!

I had heard a lot about 24 but never wanted to jump into the middle of a season thinking I'd be lost if I did. So finally a friend of mine lent me the first season on DVD and within 72 hours I had watched the whole thing.
It was some of the best television I had ever seen and because of it's continuous timeline, it really should be considered a yearly miniseries. And yes, if you jump in during the season you'd be lost.
I watched the 2nd and 3rd seasons at a slower pace, but got hooked again and watched the 4th season in four days. This is an amazing show and how the writers come up with the cliffhangers every episode that makes you watch "just one more" is nothing short of genious.
Thank you to all involved who've made me watch TV like a fanatic again.

The BEST TV Show EVER!!!!!

Except for the News and Christian TV, I DO NOT WATCH Televison at all - too much nonsense; a waste of my time.
I stumbled on 24 while trying to get to my regular Christian Channel. I started not to pause thinking it was just another TV show with sex, nudity, swearing and all that nonsense - nothing you'd recommend to friends and family but was I WRONG.
I wasn't prepared for what would soon become an addiction - never thought I'd get addicted to a televison show - never. This show is the absolute best. Great cast; the cliffhangers are that of a genius and Kiefer Sutherland is AWESOME - he kept me coming back - he is absolutely the BEST.
Every episode just keeps getting better - and the "President"??? - eh, you guys are tooooo good, I'm literally on the edge of my seat right now getting all excited just writing this review. In all honesty, this is the kind of show my family and colleagues enjoy watching on TV - keep it going, I hope it will be around for another 20 years.
I'm anxiously looking forward to the upcoming episodes - can't WAIT, YES!!!!!
I now have everyone hooked, and I cannot miss a single episode. I like the fact, though, that I get a second chance to watch it should I happen to miss it the first time. I try to schedule everything around the time it airs - it's insane, but honestly, I enjoy every single moment.
It's a clean, funny, action-packed, full with suspense - have you on the edge of your seat - TV show - and I LOVE IT!!!
24 is the absolute BEST - what else can I say to convince everyone reading this review to watch it? Before you do, make sure you are ready to become an ADDICT like or worse than myself. Watch it, you won't regret it.

Exhausting Exhilarating Fulfilling!!

24 bear some similarities to good sex, and about as addicting!!
Honestly, this show is better watched as DVD and plays much like an 18 hr feature film. Be warned if you watch this in DVD format prepare to forgo all aspects of life (you'll put off using the bathroom and eating!!)
The quality of writing, directing, acting, action is superb. Very strong characters all round. The show seems to emphasise strong female characters (be they good or bad) and portrays minorities as people rather than stereotypes. While I love Jack for his heroism, integrity, self-sacrifice and long eyelashes I'll never forget Nina Myers and Sherry Palmer - some seriously devious women.

I like it because it puts you on the edge of your seat. It keeps you guessing what's going to happen. Overall good casting and acting. It sometimes even teaches some morals...

Another long day...

5 long days, five excellent seasons of TV Drama. Season 5 ends, from what I've been told, with Jack going to a Chinese prison. I wonder how they're gonna bring him back into this, and I wish I was home to see it.
Jack is probably the best federal agent I've seen in any TV show or movie, because you keep seeing that human side, even though he is always shown as implacable...
My only complaint is that they keep killing off the old-timers at CTU, so we keep seeing situations where Jack doesn't have anyone to decipher his old protocol use, like in season 5 where he uses 'in a flank 2 postion' as a duress code, which was only caught because of an old-timer....
