Zach and Greenlee awaken in the abandoned mineshaft, a bit disoriented from their fall. Greenlee looks for her phone, but finds nothing. Zach, still bleeding from his head, manages to stand up, while Greenlee stumbles around with a bad leg. By using a flashlight, Zach and Greenlee figure they are in a bomb shelter built in the 1960s. Zach accuses Greenlee of hitting him with a car, but she is surprised to find out that is how he got hurt. Greenlee wonders if Zach would have lifted a finger to save her if the roles had been reversed. Zach says they need to stop getting distracted and figure a way out of the mineshaft. Greenlee finds a first-aid kit and tries to treat Zach's wounds. Zach sees a hole above them. Greenlee thinks she can climb through the hole, but Zach says it is too high. Greenlee tells Zach they have to treat his injuries before they become fatal because she does not want to be blamed for his death. After Greenlee and Zach down some whiskey, Greenlee begins stitching Zach's wound together. She pulls a piece of wood out of Zach's hand and begins sewing.
JR assumes that he must have a deer with his car, but realizes that there was unknown blood in the front seat. Kendall finds JR in his boat and accuses him of having something to do with Zach's disappearance. JR says he has not seen Zach in weeks, but Kendall pulls out a picture that was found under Zach's car on the side of the road where he was hit. JR says he did not hit Zach, but maybe Zach went to get help. When Kendall asks where JR was that evening, JR says it is none of her business. Kendall threatens to go the police unless he tells her exactly what happened. JR admits he was so drunk that he blacked out. Kendall decides to haul JR to the crash site so he can remember what happened. Once they get to the site, JR says he has never been to this area before. Since nothing is triggering JR's memory, he is positive that he did not hit Zach. Kendall decides to show Derek the photograph, but Derek is unable to do anything to JR without proof he hit Zach. Kendall suggests he searches JR's car for some answers. JR calls one of his buddies and asks them to make his car disappear from an airport quickly.
Ryan tells Richie to get away from Annie, but she says everything is fine. Ryan asks Richie if he got rid of Tom or hacked into his e-mail account, but Richie denies any involvement. When Richie leaves, Annie says that her brother seems to have real feelings for Babe. Ryan figures Richie is just playing Babe and is not capable of human emotion. But Ryan figures they can use Richie's attachment to Babe for their own gain. He figures they can learn what Richie is really up to through his relationship with Babe. Ryan suggests they invite Richie to Thanksgiving dinner, but Annie is uncomfortable with Richie being around Emma. Ryan promises to keep Emma safe, and figures if Richie truly wanted to hurt them, he would have done it by now.
At The Comeback, Babe and Colby try to organize Thanksgiving dinner. Adam and Tad walk in at Colby's request. She asks them if they will spend Thanksgiving together, but neither one seems excited about the prospect. Adam and Tad agree to dine together, but play darts to determine where dinner will be held. But once they begin arguing, Colby cuts the game short. Finally, Colby decides to take matters into her own hands. She says Thanksgiving dinner will be at neutral ground The Comeback.
Richie visits Babe with flowers in one hand. He admits that he wanted her more than anything last night, but was scared of being hurt. Babe admits that she has doubts about their relationship too. Babe says she knows what it likes to make mistakes that will land you in jail, but she is a different person now. Babe admits she has stayed with Richie because he likes the person she has become not the person she was in the past. Richie gets a call from Annie, who apologizes for the way things ended before Ryan got home. Annie tells Richie she does not want to fight with him and invites him and Babe to Thanksgiving dinner. Richie agrees to come to dinner and tells Babe about the invitation. Babe says she appreciates the offer, but has plans with Krystal already. Richie says he does not think he will be welcome without Babe, so Babe caves in. Richie watches a news anchor talk about Zach's disappearance and Richie remembers he is the one who hit Zach.
