Aidan brought Greenlee breakfast to make sure she was fine. Aidan said he let himself inside during the night with the key he kept to the apartment. Jake came by with her bags and began moving into the apartment with Greenlee. After Aidan walked out, Jake said the Greenlee he used to know believed in giving people second chances. After all, she gave Leo another chance after he married Laura English. Jake told Greenlee to just forgive Aidan and Kendall if she really wanted them back in her life. Greenlee said she felt like she didn't know Aidan anymore. While Jake showered, Aidan stopped by. He wrote down how much he loved Greenlee on index cards and showed them to her one by one and left.
Jesse, Angie and Krystal met at a restaurant for breakfast. Krystal said Babe was holding up well despite what Richie did to her. After Krystal left, Angie spied Dre and Cassie not far away. Jesse said he thought that someone killed Richie because of the many enemies he made in Pine Valley. Angie said she would check Richie's autopsy report to see if any of the findings would help Jesse. Dre and Cassie went out for breakfast, but felt a little strange being around each other after Colby told them they liked each other. Krystal stopped by their table and showed them the newspaper with Richie's death splashed across the front. Cassie and Dre worried that they might have been the ones who hit Richie. Dre decided to change the subject to calm Cassie down. Dre said he could not stop thinking about Cassie since they shared their first kiss.
Ryan made the arrangements for Richie's body to be buried next to his mother for Annie. Zach and Kendall brought some comfort food to Annie, who blamed herself for Richie's death. Annie said she was trying to remember the good times she shared with Richie before he became evil. Kendall noticed Annie was not wearing her wedding ring. Annie said she was getting it cleaned, but Kendall thought something was wrong with Ryan and Annie's relationship. Zach told Ryan that Richie was already dead when he found him on the side of the road. Kendall told Aidan he should be with Greenlee instead of Jake. Ryan took Annie to the medical examiner's office. Jesse had a few more questions for Zach at the police station.
Colby came downstairs in her home to hear JR, Babe and Adam arguing. A hung-over Colby was shocked when they told her about Richie being hit and left for dead on the side of the road. JR told Colby he could smell the alcohol on her even if Adam wanted to ignore it. He told Colby to go upstairs and take a shower. Krystal barged into the living room and interrupted Adam scolding Babe for getting involved with Richie. When JR took Adam outside, Krystal told Babe she kissed Adam. Krystal told JR that Babe belonged back at the home with her and Tad. Babe said she wanted to stay with JR and kissed him. Dre and Cassie came to see Colby and told her that they might have hit Richie.
