Contestants endure a grueling workout, meet with editors for ELLEgirl magazine and pose in the style of 1940s pin-up models with tight corsets in an automobile ad.

The models visit Eva Pigford, the show s 2004 winner, on a photo shoot and are challenged to appear angry while posing with stars from the series “Wildboyz.” Later, one model is selected to appear as a guest star on “Veronica Mars.”

Tension mounts as one model is accused of constantly talking about her competitors behind their backs; a photographer reveals candid pictures he took of the contestants that show them in an unflattering way.

The models are swarmed by pigeons when they pose like statues in a park. At the photo shoot, they pose as modern interpretations of classic artworks for photographer Barry Lategan. Also, one contestant suspects another model of stealing.

The models learn about British fashion trends and then try to impress London designers. Later, the contestants pose at a Bollywood-inspired photo shoot.

The fifth season concludes with the top model being selected. Tyra Banks is the host.

The Top 13 models move into a loft in New York City and take part in a fashion show. Later, they bring classic childhood games to life in a Central Park photo shoot. At panel, the first contestant is eliminated.

The 12 remaining models receive makeovers and attend a photo shoot directed by Nigel Barker that uses light in creative ways. At panel, another contestant is eliminated.

The models are taught runway etiquette by Miss J and Season 9 contestants Bianca and Chantal before taking part in a Jill Stuart fashion show. The photo shoot takes place aboard a sightseeing tour bus and requires the ladies to pose with partners.

Cycle 3 contestant Toccara Jones hosts a slumber party for the ladies and offers tips on the modeling industry. Later, the contestants take part in a posing challenge and visit Ellis Island for a photo shoot.

Beth Stern coaches the models during a photo challenge that requires them to strike the right facial expression to be placed on famous images of Tyra. At the photo shoot, each lady must emote a color that is painted on her face.

Clay Aiken judges the models during an acting class, and Season 11 winner McKey helps the ladies prepare to shoot a cosmetics commercial.

Ciara surprises the models at their apartment and they join her on stage for a photo shoot. The models also play creative director for a photo challenge in which they style one another and direct a shoot. At panel, Tyra reveals the overseas location.

The six remaining models arrive in São Paulo, Brazil, and test their navigation skills by participating in a scavenger hunt around the city. Later, the ladies learn a local fighting technique to use in a photo challenge.

The five remaining ladies race to impress five different designers at various modeling appointments while learning to navigate São Paulo, Brazil. Later, Nigel Barker directs a beach-themed photo shoot. At panel, the group is reduced to the final four.

The four remaining models learn samba dancing and are judged on how well they perform. The challenge winner receives jewelry. Later, Tyra directs a jungle-themed photo shoot that requires the ladies to resemble exotic birds.
