Too much chatter...
July 9, 2008
Apprently normal people are just as bad about spewing cliches as professional athletes if you interview them pre/post event while they are either tired or focused. Why do they cut certain events in order to air 14 - 2 question interviews with the contestants where they all say the same thing?
Please circle your responses...
"I'm doing this for my mom/spouse/kids, becuase with her/him/them behind me/looking down on me from heaven/supporting my dreams I'll be inspired to never give up/give 120%/take it all the way and take home that $100k/prove to myself I can do anything/dominate."
There interviews all done. Now start climbing that wall.
Ali was great on "Danicing" but is a poor interviewer and Hogan may be worse.
And why was your avg Jane/Joe contestant now required to have model-esque looks?
More gladiating, less babbling please.

American Gladiators are hot
July 7, 2008
I think that all the male gladiators are hot and sexy...... The show is 100% excellent. I enjoy it very much. I have so much watching the show down in Houston, Tx. I like the physical part of the show.

I love this show
June 30, 2008
I like everything about this show except how the gladiators and contenders are paired. I believe it should be some kind of lottery to pair them. The gladiators should be all around athletes as are the contenders.

Quintessential Tongue-in-Cheek Americana
June 14, 2008
If you go into this show expecting top-notch production values and emmy-quality television, then you're setting yourself up for disappointment. It's not typical NBC fare, but it's certainly a refreshing change.
This show is awesome specifically because it's not like this, and unshamefully so. It exemplifies a naive, but totally American ideology- who's the biggest, fastest and strongest? Yea, there's no real point, but that's why i love it. It's just total chaotic fun with a child-like excitement about it.
Fans of the old show will love the dose of nostalgia it serves. Oh yea- keep it on the air! Watch it on mondays at 8pm!
