    Wickedly Funny

    June 26, 2007
I have nit much more to say other than that this show is wickedly funny with some of the ideas ppl come up with, and how they present it, as well as the critic's reactions. It's so odd, it's charming. very cool.

InventorSpot.com Episode 201 Live Blog and Recap

    June 20, 2007
    ing.

Tonight's premier episode of American Inventor certainly got us started out on two left feet. This certainly wasn't anything unexpected; as with any talent competition the bad far outweighs the bad. We saw a device that held your hat on, a doggy barf bag, urine activated color changing toilet training pictures, and much much more.

I can see why the show's first episode starts with the crazies: it grabs our attention. Of they maybe 15 contestants they previewed tonight only 3 made it through to Los Angeles, but that doesn't mean we weren't entertained as we watched someone self-proclaim he re-invented the wheel. The three inventions that proved worthy for the judges were the Auto-Bib, to keep you clean while eating in the car, the Teraphy dolls, which reassure you when you need to hear it that Everything is going to be Alright, and the Guardian Angel, which is a sprinkler system for your Christmas tree in case it catches on fire. We'll see how they all do with some financial backing and another round in front of the judges in L.A.

But, from the start, it should be an entertaining season so I encourage everyone to keep watching and talking.

Inventions always seem to get the better of me.

    June 9, 2007
For those people that start with a dream idea but just keep it there a dream or quit would not trully understand the American Inventor show, but those poeple that have gone from plan (a.. to plan XYZ). would understand this great show. I have a invention that I've work on for 18 years plus and six months ago, I just finished it I hold and use my prototype I amaze and thank the lord all mighty for his blessings because when I think about it In the hole world He has once again given me an idea, that from a dream he allowed me to bring it out to reallity. and this show which I knew nothing about has cuaght my intrest to see all those people that did there home work and the ones that still need to finsh it. that"s why it"s an Excellent American Inventor TV Show I may disagree a little on inventors that present an dream idea and no prototype but not with disliking of the show the show is great my lord and my blessings. P.S. keep it up guy"s

like the show i think and hope it will get better

    June 6, 2007
i like the idea of the christmas sprinkler tree but how will the water be contain and how will it pressurized with. i installe fire supression sytems in commerical and residental buildings and the way i can figure the plug on the angle will melt or bust away like a sprinkler sytem is holding a lighter close for 2 to 3 seconds and element will bust the bulb and throw the water in a circular pattern cone shape and supressing the fire completely. i would guess it would take time testing different glass elements .most of these elements come standard at 155 degrees. it would be interesting to how these test come through and the time spent on supply linefeeding the water without busting or melting apart and the tank that hold temperatures of a tank without exploding. if possible look into fire rates platics and fire rated tanks when it comes to small or huge fires. i have installed fire rated plastic pipes for supressing fires and the only marks was pipe chared on the out side but the plastic never melted away or busted.

    Waiting On Next Season

    March 14, 2007
I thought it was a great new show. Very funny at time in the earnest & sincerity of all players. Then, it all turned-out to be real earnest & sincerity, no laughing matter. That made it very engaging. Plus, the judges are a great mix. They're putting their money where their mouth is so it's all about honesty.. (Never mind that they often seem to parady Idol's judges, because that's all part of the charm of the show.). Looking forward to this season.
