Ok Guys you didn't like this show, but really it wasn't that bad. (For those of us old enough TV has laid a lot of bad eggs Anyone remember the TV series based on the movie Westworld?) But from what a can tell of my local TV news departments it was a pretty accurate depiction. (And I live lees than 100 miles from Tyler, Texas)
Frankly, Lauren didn't seem any more vapid than the local news bunnies. Yes, it was a little like watching an auto wreck, but isn't that the point of all reality TV? And was it really any worse than the show that copied the bachelor only with a midget?

I really wanted to "root" for this woman when the show first came on -- thinking that perhaps she was going to rise above the obvious and well-advertised stereotype and really show us something. It didn't happen. In the end, I came away with the feeling that yet another wealthy, privileged, pampered celebrity was coming to make fun of hard-working people in the "real" world. Instead of relating to the people around her and really making an effort to connect and come away with something of value, she treated the opportunity like a big joke. (I felt this way after a few episodes of "The Simple Life.") I was also a little dismayed by some of the ways her co-workers related to her in the episode -- it seemed a little mean and unnecessarily vengeful, at times. August 25, 2007OK THE FIRST COMMENT I READ WAS ABOUT A LADY COMPLAINING ABOUT WORKING TOO HARD TO GET WHERE WOMAN ARE AT.....DUDE, IT'S JUST A SHOW IT'S ALREADY BEEN DONE GET OVER IT.....SHOW WILL ALWAYS BE ON AIR THAT U MAY NOT AGREE WITH WHY TAKE EVERYTHING SO SERIOUSLY. ALL PEOPLE HAVE A CHANCE TO TRY NEW THINGS JUST LIKE ANYONE ELSE NO MATTER WHAT THEY LOOK LIKE, THEIR PASS, OR ANYTHING....AS LONG AS THE NEWS IS BEING DONE THE WAY IT'S SKRIPTED THEN GREAT. EVEN IF SHE'S A BIT ON THE BLONDER SIDE. THERE U'LL BE HAPPY NOW THAT ITS PULLED....GEEZ. i have BROWN AND BLACK hair. i love degrassi, the best years, that 70s show, life with derek, south of nowhere, and the fresch prince. i dont like the news. i dont like to watch it im sorry.
i ikie cupcakes, and i was more interested in my cupcake than that show. yep.
sorry. i dont like blonde hair and fake boobies.
well, i never wathced this show.
