    July 28, 2007
I love this show. When i was younger i watched this all the time. Some of it might be a little corny but it's very entertaining. I also love how there were so many bad guys in the show.

Bring this great show to DVD Please!!

    July 18, 2007
This is my favorite show when I was growing up as a kid. I love it to this very day!! If you are going to make every show for DVD, it would be a complete shame to let this one go!! I hope that 20th Century Fox and Warner Bros. come to terms in order to make this happen very soon!! According to tvshowsondvd.com, Batman is the second most requested unreleased show by the fans!! Did you hear me guys and gals??? The fans are demanding it!!

Excellent show for the wrong time period

    April 9, 2009
The show itself was excellently done but I personally believe it was shown to the wrong audience. It debuted on Jan. 1966 on ABC at 7:30 pm, Wed and Thurs nights. In the sixties, the in genre to watch seemed to be Spy or Secret Agent shows, ie Get Smart, I Spy, etc. Playing a crimefighter that fought for Truth, Justice and the American way in the sixties may not have fit well with young adults experiencing Vietnam or the CiviI Rights struggle.

I watched this show in syndication in the 70's where the Superhero genre was in full swing, ie The Six Million Dolllar Man, Wonder Woman etc., thus, I never got the impression that the show was campy at all. Plus I saw Batman weekday afternoons (kids time) along with Superman (George Reeves) and the Lone Ranger (Clayton Moore), thus solidifying my experience with the show as an adventure show and not a camp show.

Adam West and Burt Ward were the most loyal actors to their character namesakes throughout the 70's and 80's but probably due to no Internet at that time to hype up their post Batman projects, the movie actors like Micheal Keaton and Christian Bale will get sole credit for their portrayl of the character. I am not putting down their Dark Knight portrayl, which was good, but there are a lot of old school people like myself that remember another Batman at another time and it all started from this fantastic TV Series !

    This show is awesome!

I loved this show so much when I watched it. I used to not like shows like it but then I figured out that it is really fun to watch. I liked it because it had alot of action and the way they made each episode is really good. This show rocks my favorite episodes are Dreams In Darkness, Two Face, Heart of Ice, and riddelers reform.

    a great classic for television.

    June 3, 2009
This was a great action television show. Ward and West are great as the dynamic duo. West as Bruce Wayne/Batman, and Ward as Dick Grayson/Robin. A slue of actors and actresses played different villians. Great fun and great visual effects.
I like West as Batman best. The movies on the big screen and now on DVD werent as good.
Adam West was a great choice as Bruce wayne/ Batman. I thought Burt was not. His character appearance wasnt up to snuff.
