Smart Man, Smart Show
November 6, 2009
Bill Moyers is the best journalist in the media right now and his show has thoughtful and informed dialogue unlike a lot of shows on Fox, MSNBC, CNN, etc... Whoever you are JKR8, your stupidity is laughable.

Pablum Puke at its best

Bill Moyer is just another clueless ideologue who wants to think he's a journalist. Put a wig on him and you have Joy Behar. The word integrity is not in his vocabulary. He picks only left wing nuts to provide their commentary as if it were fact and never questions it. What a journalist!! HAHAHA.

Thoughtful
July 17, 2009
Thought provoking and in depth interviews. Varied sides treated fairly and with dignity. The best minds interviewed by TV's best host. Moyers' multi part interview of Joseph Campbell ("The History of Myth") remains, to me, the best series ever on TV.

Remember fairness & thoughfulness in public talk?
July 10, 2009
We would be a better society if the current media and its consumers stopped calling names, serving up the little they know as if it were a meaningful answer to a situation or issue, and "\tuning in" only to those who share their views. This show is an example of what we should all try to put into our discussions of public issues and, to me, shows why funding PBS by governmental bodies is owed to us by those who've given the public airwaves to people whose agendas are personal. The sad part is that there's little on the horizon to continue the tradition, unless one searches thousands of blogs that reach limited audiences, and the people who do that are usually looking to share or support their already-formed views. Instead, we need thoughtful, courteous dialogue after we've done some homework, and this is a gem of an example.

the only decent, honest , intelligent TV program
June 19, 2009
I like everything about this program, and look forward to it every Friday evening, mainly Bill's personal comments at the end.
Bill is a voice in the wilderness and I thank him for making TV journalism what it should be - decent, honest, intelligent and angry when it should be.
