i love the show, my husband is from texas and worked the oil rigs for alot of years and now his son is doing it . i looke forward to it every week

Most of my family is connected to the oil field and this may not be 100% accurate it is 95%. We have family night with Black Gold, it is a wonderful show.

I have watched this show for a while and all I can say is, thanks for nothing.
I thought that it was gunna be worth while that, they were going to show how hard the oilfield is. But no they put a bunch of dumb asses that dont follow the rules and regulations of the oil field. I know for a fact that if their were men on a Rig without a hardhat they would be written up and sent home, and they are working with out overalls. If all you wanted was to make the oilfield out to be a bunch of dumb redneck retartds then mission accomplished good job. Why dont you find a rig that is ran the right way (like in Colorado) protray it the way it should be let people know how this men get up at 3 in the morning and dont leave until the job is done, how they miss holidays and births because of their jobs show what it is, how they are some of the smartest people around, how from when the drill the rig up till they complete the hole it is non stop!!!

that pee wee is pissing me off......KEEP SAYING RETARD!!!!! something will happen and you will not like it in the long run you arent perfect either.....Awwwww pee wee quiting!! thank goodness it would do the show justice!!!! YAY!!!! . show is ok!
