Team Adam's Judith Hill & Sarah Simmons are eliminatedThere was a time, not too long ago, when I was predicting a "Voice" Season 4 finale between two Team Adam contestants: R&B powerhouse Judith Hill, who'd seemed like this season's chosen one from the very start, and exquisite hippie-rocker Sarah Simmons, another early frontrunner. Team Adam totally seemed like THE team to beat.

But that time has sadly passed, because Team Adam was all but decimated this week. On Tuesday's top eight results show, both Judith and Sarah were sent home.

But by the top eight episode's end, the show took a sober turn, as the realization kicked in that this Tuesday, two very talented contestants will go home.

Such a strategy may seem a little too self-referential, a little too retroactive, and definitely gimmicky, but you know…it just might work.

Usher has lost two of his contestants since the Season 4 "Voice" live shows have begun, but Team Usher is only down, not out. Usher still has his not-so-secret weapon, breakout contestant Michelle Chamuel...and in the end, all it will take is one contestant to win the season. And Usher believes that Michelle is the one.
