    Burt Reynolds' Fever Down, Expected to Be Moved Out of ICU

    Actor Burt Reynolds, who was hospitalized in Florida this week for the flu, is expected to be moved out of the intensive care unit soon, according to his publicist.

    "Burt's fever is down and we believe he should be taken out of ICU very soon," Reynolds' publicist Erik Kritzer said in a statement to ABC News.

    Reynolds, 76, who came to fame with 1972's "Deliverance" has appeared in numerous films, including "Smokey and the Bandit," "Gunsmoke," "The Cannonball Run" and "Boogie Nights," which earned him a Golden Globe and an Oscar nomination.

    He also appeared in the television movie "Reel Love" with country crooner LeAnn Rimes in 2011.
