    • 'New Girl': 10 Reasons We Loved the First Season

The pilot of "New Girl" charmed us, and then it was followed by some very uneven episodes. But by the middle of its first season, this series really found its footing and became one of the funniest programs on TV. And while the "New Girl" ensemble is the key to its success, the show does have several individual parts that really make it stand out.

      The Theme Song
"Hey girl… whatcha doing?" It may seem simple, but it's insanely catchy. While most TV shows now tend to skip theme songs or just use a quick instrumental, this one has given us a vibrant little tune that we find ourselves humming at the oddest times. "Who's that girl? It's Jess!"

      The Apartment
The place is an old abandoned school of some sort and has an odd locker room-style bathroom, a huge living space, a roof deck that may or may not crumble underneath its occupants, a broken just-about-everything, and an absolutely terrifying landlord. If we were realtors, we'd spin it as unique. But it makes for plenty of fodder

    • 'The Amazing Race': Best & Worst Moments of Season 20

This season of "The Amazing Race" has been better as far as challenges go, and there were some fun new contestants (though we could have lived without whiny Team "Big Brother"), but just because we've enjoyed the 20th installment more than the last few doesn't mean that it was without fault. Here's our look at the best and worst moments of the race.

Best: You Play Worse Than a Girl
Art acted like a jerk, so it was pretty great to see him get beaten at cricket by Rachel (the annoying Rachel from "Big Brother," not the seemingly more athletic one). Especially when he and JJ thought they had the challenge in the bag because Brendon was stuck on a team with a woman. Score one for the ladies everywhere.

      Worst: Lying Liars Who Lie
We appreciate players who keep their identity under wraps, like athletes who don't want people on "Survivor" to vote against them because they think they've got loads of cash, but here it didn't even make sense. Nary and Jamie, who are federal agents, told

    • 'Dancing With the Stars': Casting the All-Star Season

Mario Lopez recently revealed that there was going to be an all-star season of "Dancing With the Stars." We presume that means he'll be among the returning competitors, though we can think of others we'd love to see again from the hundreds who have been on the show (some for their talent, others for pure entertainment value). We're mostly excluding previous winners (since they may have an unfair advantage), much as we'd enjoy watching Drew Lachey and J.R. Martinez again.

      10. Kelly Monaco
Yes, she was a winner, but it was during the lame first season. We mostly want her back to see if she could hang with the big boys (and girls) who can really dance.

      9. Carson Kressley
Because an all-star season wouldn't be complete without his fashion sense and whimsical personality. And maybe this time the show would be brave enough to give him a male partner.

      8. Harry Hamlin/Lisa Rinna
We liked the husband-and-wife duo the first time around, but the real reason we want them on the show again

    • 'The Good Wife': Season 3's Best Moments

It was a very strong season for "The Good Wife" despite far too many irritating delays due to various sporting events, but cluttering up our DVRs with the awful string of CBS procedurals that follow the show was worth it because it really delivered plenty of the fantastic (and fantastically bizarre) moments that fans have grown accustomed to.

      Alicia and Will
After all manner of steamy encounters in the first two years, Season 2 ended with a hook-up, and this season began with several sexy liaisons and double entendres in the office. But the best moment was when Alicia broke things off because it was just too much for her. Her teary walk away from Will made us love them both even more.

      Keeping Us in Suspense
Will got suspended, and after aimlessly hanging around the office, he went home to wallow for a while. Then his two sisters came to nag him into doing something with his life (because being a partner at a law firm is nothing), assuming along the way that he's grouchy because he's

    • 'Magic City': How It Compares to This Season's Other Period Pieces

"Magic City" is the latest of the recent attempts to create a great period drama, but sadly, this Starz show falls short. While it may looks as pretty as "Mad Men" or "Boardwalk Empire," it has a lot more in common with the short-lived "Pan Am" and "The Playboy Club." And while those were fun while they lasted, there's a reason they failed to attract much of an audience. But Starz already renewed "Magic City" for a second season before it even aired a single episode. Let's hope no horses, or other defenseless animals, have to suffer in order for this cable network to see the error of their premature decision.

This new show focuses on Ike Evans (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), a hotel owner in early 1959 who is dealing with a strike, handling talent, and making deals with some of Miami's seedier residents in order to keep his business booming and his family living in the lap of luxury. But the specific time period aside, it borrows liberally from these other shows thematically.

      "Boardwalk

    • 'The Voice': Who Will Win Season 2?

There are 24 (yes, 24!) finalists heading into the live shows of "The Voice." That's far too many. Here are our picks for who will be cut and who has a chance of sticking around until the end.

      TEAM ADAM

      Pip
First Impressions: His name is Pip. We want to hate just for that alone (well, that and the stupid suspenders he insists on wearing), but the judges seem to like him thus far.
Odds of Winning: 40 to 1. Who is going to pick up the phone for a dude named Pip? He would've been better off auditioning for "The Glee Project."

      Katrina Parker
First Impressions: Because the judges keep comparing her to Adele (mostly because of her blond hair and curvy figure), that's probably the thing that sticks most with us. We just can't unsee it now. She's got a solid voice, and we're sure glad she's not stuck in that depressing-looking cubicle anymore.
Odds of Winning: 9 to 1. She has a very current, radio-friendly voice and doesn't seem obnoxious, so if she continues hitting those big notes, she

    • 'Dancing With the Stars': Who Will Win Season 14?

It seems the "Dancing With the Stars" franchise is increasingly scraping the bottom of the barrel to get its so-called celebrities, as this season is filled with largely obscure people. However, while they are largely nobodies, some of these unfamiliar faces happen to have a modicum of dance ability, at least based on the first week. There weren't any real embarrassing moments, so this season might actually turn out to be a true competition and not just a popularity contest.

      Donald Driver
Why You Know Him: If you follow football, he's a receiver for the Green Bay Packers. If you don't, he's an athlete, so just go with it.
How He'll Do: 2 to 1. Athletes always do well on this show, and he is likely to be no exception. He seems to have the crowd on his side already as he's very charming. He's definitely the one to beat.

      Gavin DeGraw
Why You Know Him: His song "I Don't Want to Be" has been ruined by countless contestants on reality singing competitions. He's currently assaulting the

    • 'The Bachelor': The Most Ridiculously Memorable Moments of Ben's Season

Ben was one of the lamest Bachelors in this show's history, but he sure had an interesting (by which we mean, insane) group of women around him to make this installment somewhat memorable. Here are the highs and many lows from a season filled with lots of tears and nudity.

The Horse You Rode in On
Most girls tried be somewhat clever and/or grossly seductive in their opening introductions out of the limo, with varying degrees of success. Lindzi compensated for the stupid spelling of her name by arriving in a unique fashion: on horseback. Of course she couldn't stop talking about horses for the rest of the season and it got quickly annoying, but it was somewhat clever at the moment.

      Cry Me a River
We usually have to wait for the Bachelor to start dumping girls before the waterworks start, but not this year. There were tears right out of the gate, mostly because Monica took an instant dislike to annoying blogger Jenna and Jenna just couldn't understand why. She started crying. In a

    • 'American Idol': Who Will Win Season 11?

With the Top 13 finalists chosen (though we miss the good old days of a Top 10), we can now get down to the business of crowning a new "American Idol"… for the teenagers and grandmas out there who still care. We have our predictions on who will become America's sweetheart and who will disappear faster than Anoop Desai.

      Colton Dixon
First Impression: Technically a second impression, since he almost made it to the finals last season. We liked that he seemed disgusted with the show and didn't want to audition again, but then he got suckered into doing it anyway.
Odds of Winning: 4 to 1. He's clearly got the little girl fans, as they were screaming like crazy when he hopped up on the piano. And he's technically a rocker, in the most harmless way possible.

      DeAndre Brackensick
First Impression: He's all about falsetto and makes dreadful hair choices. What we wouldn't give to get at that mop with scissors and a flat iron. There's something about him that reminds us of Justin Guarini, and

    • 'America's Next Top Model': Who Will Win the British Invasion?

It's a British Invasion, Tyra-style, which means she's imported some women who have appeared on "Britain's Next Top Model" and forced them to compete against fresh-faced American gals. One might think that gives the Brits an unfair advantage, but it seems unlikely that Tyra would let someone from another country win the American title. Even though she explicitly said she wasn't biased. So using what we know about Tyra (and we can't wait to hear her terrible attempts at a British accent) and what we saw in the first episode, we've come up with our predictions of who will win "Top Model" this season.

      Alisha
      Stats: 20-year-old from South London
First Impression: She finds Americans loud and obnoxious (or at least the sampling of Americans she's being forced to live with) and knows next to nothing about Elton John. Sure, the costume was unfortunate, but she could have given some life to those oversize glasses.
Odds of Winning: 5 to 1. She's outspoken and all legs. Sounds like another
