    • 'The Amazing Race' Season 20: Who's Who & Who'll Win

New season and new people -- well, aside from "Big Brother" alums Brendon and Rachel, who have reared their collective ugly head on yet another CBS show. Still, there are some other big personalities who might stand a better shot at winning in the 20th season of "The Amazing Race."

      Dave and Rachel
Stats: He's a 33-year-old Army officer, and she's a 30-year-old project manager. They are from Madison, Wisconsin.
The Gimmick: They are a married couple adjusting to his being back home after a year of deployment.
First Impression: Our favorites from the second she gamely jumped out of the plane. They seem adventurous and fun loving, and they haven't made any stupid mistakes yet.
Odds of Winning: 3 to 1. In the premiere, they landed in first place and scored the express pass. And she seems just as tough as he is.

      Mark and Bopper
Stats: Mark's a 45-year-old former state inspector, and Bopper's a 41-year-old motorcycle mechanic. They are from Manchester, Kentucky.
      The Gimmick: They are best

    • 'Survivor: One World': Who's Who & Who'll Win

No Redemption Island and no returning players? "One World" might be the "Survivor" season we've been waiting for. The big twist is that the tribes are segregated by sexes, but they are all forced to share a beach. It's an interesting concept, and we're mostly curious about who will be the players we love, and who will be the ones we love to hate.

      Alicia Rosa
Stats: 25-year-old special-education teacher from Chicago
First Impression: She's filled with attitude, and given that she threatened to punch Christina at the first tribal council, it seems as if she'd be better suited for "Bad Girls Club."
Odds of Winning: 40 to 1. She's too outspoken to make it to the end, because she's made herself a huge target. She also vehemently objected to Christina making deals with the men. And being averse to making nice with the opposite tribe will be a big mistake come merge.

      Bill Posley
Stats: 28-year-old stand-up comedian from Venice, California
First Impression: He barely said a word, but

    • 'Cougar Town': The Best Moments From Its Long-Awaited Return

"Cougar Town" is weird, sentimental, insane, and sitcom-y, but somehow when thrown together with a liberally poured glass of wine, it works really well for us. While we were inclined to write it off in its early days, it completely charmed us over time and we missed it so much during its nine-month (!) hiatus. Still, since we are skeptical about everything, we were more than a little concerned that the show might have lost its magic during its long time away. Fortunately, we need not have worried. Here are our favorite parts from last night's season premiere:

      The Name
There was a lot of discussion in the off-season about a possible title change (since the show has nothing to do with cougars), which amounted to nothing at all. But they continue to poke fun at themselves in the opening credits: "Yeah, it's still called 'Cougar Town.' We're not happy about it either." We always appreciate a self-deprecating sense of humor.

      The Gang
One of the running Ellie jokes of the night

    • 'House': 10 Ways the Series Could End

Fox recently announced that after eight long seasons, "House" will be coming to an end this May. While it is far too late for the show to go out on a high note, it can at least go out in an interesting, or at least totally ridiculous and entertaining, way. Here are our suggestions, largely inspired from other, better programs.

      10. Wake Up
House falls asleep on a hospital bed and wakes up next to his roommate -- Stephen Fry.

      9. House Is 15 Again
If Fox decides they want to keep this franchise alive, just have Hugh Laurie undergo some "Freaky Friday" thing where he turns into a Doogie Howser-like version of himself. A show about a cranky 15-year-old with a cane and an addiction to Gummi bears would be far more watchable.

      8. Princeton-Plainsboro Is Purgatory
We didn't like it when "Lost" went with the whole everyone's-dead reveal, but given the hell we've been put through with "House" the last few years, finding out that the docs are just stuck in limbo until they complete their requisite Read More »from 'House': 10 Ways the Series Could End
    • 'Smash': Other Shows It Resembles More Than 'Glee'

We're sick of everyone saying that "Smash" reminds them of "Glee." The shows have very little in common, so it's just a lazy comparison that's made because both programs happen to feature musical elements. "Smash" is a layered show about adults in realistic situations, not adults playing teenagers in the most ridiculous high school ever. NBC's series also has serious actors (like Anjelica Huston) and (judging by the upcoming episodes we've been privy to) actually remembers its storylines from week to week and doesn't wildly change itself in order to fit the music of the week. Oh, and its original songs are truly catchy, and the less said about that time "Glee" went for originality, the better. Here are the other shows "Smash" actually resembles:

      'Parenthood'
"Smash" isn't about a family in the way that "Parenthood" is, but the process of creating Marilyn weaves the characters together in a way that could last for the five years it typically takes a show to make it to the

    • 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills': Most Memorable Moments From the Reunion (Part 2)

Welcome to the "Let's bash on Brandi" segment of this three-part "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" reunion -- but at least in her case, she bites back. Thank God for her, or else we would have fallen asleep during the episode.

      What Not to Wear
Brandi had to defend her itty-bitty bikini, her nipple-exposing tops, and her borderline skanky outfits, and she did so with aplomb. Her response to all the critiques was that she always dresses how she feels -- comfortable and confident -- and "at least I had a top on." Also, her definition of what's too far? Exposing your labia. So watch out, because we've got a feeling Season 3 will show even more skin.

      Kill or Be Killed
Taylor, who is currently more than a little sensitive about the subject of death (and understandably so), took the utmost offense to Brandi saying she wanted to kill Kyle. We'd be in jail for life if we were convicted every time we said we could just kill someone. Some things are jokes, people. Lighten up.

      Miss

    • 'The X Factor': Who Should Replace Paula and Nicole?

Clearly, hiring music-industry professionals was of no help to "The X Factor," as demonstrated by the recent axing of judge/mentors Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger (as well as host Steve Jones). Who should replace them? We suggest that Simon Cowell look to already successful reality TV judges, whether or not they have experience critiquing singers. While some of these personalities might seem like an odd fit, each one of them would be more fun to watch than the former Lakers Girl and Pussycat Doll.

    • 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills': Most Memorable Moments From the Reunion (Part 1)

Last night was the first of three installments of the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" reunion, and while we've only just scratched the surface of the craziness with these women, there were already some very memorable moments:

      What Are They Wearing?
Was Adrienne trying to look like a butterfly with her shiny satin purplish blue gown, with the big winglike sleeve? She can definitely afford to look better. And she was butting heads with Lisa, who looked like she had disassembled a chandelier to make her giant gaudy necklace and earrings. Money can't buy you taste.

      Kim Is MIA
Much like she was the rest of this season, Kim was not at the reunion. They explained she was in rehab, but Kyle refused to talk about. Judging by the previews, it looks like Andy Cohen has a solo sitdown with her at some later date. That's probably for the best. The big crowd of women would likely just have confused her.

      Hoof-in-Mouth Disease
Lisa has been in this country long enough that she should know

    • 'Chuck': What We Loved (and Hated) About the Series

We've been frustrated with this last season, but there was a time when we found "Chuck" quite charming, so much so that we actually looked forward to each new episode. Now we're mostly glad that the series is finally ending. Here's what we've missed about the series, and what we won't once it's gone.

Loved: Chuck Was an Adorable Geek with an Intersect in His Brain
When the series began, Chuck Bartowski was just an ordinary video game enthusiast with a knack for fixing computers. He was working a dead-end job alongside his childhood best friend, with few dating prospects on the horizon. A dorky but lovable everyman who was totally relatable, but who, because he knew a fella named Bryce Larkin, ended up with all of the government's secrets implanted in his brain.

      Hated: Chuck Stopped Being Nerdy
We were excited when the Intersect 2.0 gave Chuck a special kung fu grip, but sadly it meant that our little nerd had become a real action hero. He suddenly developed spy skills that he

    • The Ex Factor: Why 'The Challenge' Is Worth Watching This Season

It's a new season of the addictive MTV reality-competition series "The Challenge," and while some installments falter because there just isn't enough infighting and drama, it doesn't look like "Battle of the Exes" will have that problem. Jam-packed with personal chaos, hard challenges, and beautiful scenery, the show has always mixed the best elements of "The Amazing Race," "Survivor," and "Bachelor Pad" together. But we have particularly high hopes for this "Battle" after seeing last night's premiere. Here's why:

      The Ex Factor
The competitors arrived and were immediately stunned by the news that they would be paired with a former hookup/significant other. It definitely makes you rethink your life choices when someone you had a one-night stand with is suddenly your teammate and your best shot at winning prize money. Plus, the ones who were in relationships had some good reasons for splitting up, and there is a lot of animosity between them. We expect lots and lots of
