In the greenroom at the studio, bundled up in a blanket, "Saturday Night Live" cast member Cecily Strong jumped on Twitter to answer fans' questions while watching a tape of the show rehearsals.
Viewers wanted to know about the rising star's favorite character, how she likes co-anchoring "Weekend Update," and whether or not she has a shampoo preference. (Take notes: She spills the secret to her glorious locks.)
Strong's favorite shoes must be "Manuel Blondicks." At least that's the sketch she says she likes to do in response to @AbbiTaylor's question about her favorite skits. She and Vanessa Bayer play former porn stars shilling — and badly mispronouncing — designer Manolo Blahnik shoes.

These archived videos from past Halloween-themed segments of "Saturday Night Live" are all treats. Enjoy some of the most memorable that include celebrity cameos:
Halloween With the Clintons
The Clintons, played by Darrell Hammond and Amy Poehler, hold a Halloween party and bicker through the entire 2007 skit. Poehler wears a bride costume, but guests keep calling her a witch. Then Sen. Barack Obama makes a surprise appearance as himself and has this dig for Hillary: "I enjoy being myself. I'm not going to change who I am just because it's Halloween."
Vincent Price's Halloween Special
The segment is from 2010, but the sketch — shown in black and white — is set in 1960. Jon Hamm is spot-on as presidential nominee John F. Kennedy, who shows up to the haunted-house set with a woman he calls his "campaign manager." "You said to bring Candy, so I'd like to introduce you to Candy DiCenzo," he says to Bill Hader's Vincent Price.

Michael Douglas arrived at the 65th Annual Primetime Emmys red carpet looking the picture of health — and wearing his wedding ring.
The star teamed with co-star and fellow nominee Matt Damon to introduce an Elton John tribute to Liberace. He was accompanied by his brother, Joel Douglas, and took home an award for Lead Actor in a Miniseries or Movie for "Behind the Candelabra."
During his speech, though, he name-checked someone who was MIA. "I want to thank my wife, Catherine, for her support," he said from the stage.
Catherine Zeta-Jones was half a world away, at a red carpet event in China.
The solo actress, who was also wearing "what looked to be her wedding ring," stunned at an event in China’s Shandong province. The "Red 2" star appeared for the opening of the country's $5 billion movie studio along with A-listers Leonard DiCaprio, John Travolta, Nicole Kidman, and Ewan McGregor.

"Big Bang Theory" star Kaley Cuoco capped a big Emmy weekend by debuting her new beau, Ryan Sweeting.
The pair, who stepped out together in public for a pre-Emmys party Friday, made their official red carpet debut as a twosome at Sunday's big show — and if there were an Emmy for Cutest Couple, they would definitely make the cut.
Cuoco is definitely on board, tweeting about their Friday outing as "greatest date ever." Exhibit A: her photo of the two looking smashing in matching sleek black outfits.
At the 65th Primetime Emmy Awards, Cuoco looked stunning in a strapless oxblood dress designed by Vera Wang and her tresses worn down her shoulders. But her best accessory: boyfriend Sweeting, in an all-black ensemble.
So thrilled to dress the talented and beautiful @KaleyCuoco for the Emmy's! XxVera

Canary yellow dresses were the key to Emmy success in 2012. Three standouts who dared to don the bold look at last year's awards show went home with matching golden statuettes.
"Modern Family's" Julie Bowen chose a flowing neon yellow Monique Lhuillier dress. The gown made such a statement that "American Idol" judge Nicki Minaj wore it for an event just two months later.
"I am not upset that she wore my dress at all," Bowen told Jay Leno, who pointed out Minaj's fashion no-no. "I'm upset that she stole my hair," Bowen added, jokingly referring to Minaj's blond locks.

Claire Danes, who won in 2012 for her role in the drama "Homeland," wore a sunny yellow Lanvin dress that left plenty of room for her baby bump.
"It didn't need any tweaking, and it's very bump-friendly," Danes told E! News' Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet. "It was easy and pretty."

Tara Reid has proven that just starring in a movie called "Sharknado" does not make her an expert on sea life.
The 37-year-old actress made that clear when she went on Discovery's Shark Week talk show "Shark After Dark" last night. She told the host, "Today I was like, all right, I don't want to, like, really sound stupid when I do this show today, like... so I learned a little education on sharks."
She added, "So I look up 'sharks' on the Internet and I see 'whale sharks,' so I'm like, that must mean that a whale and a shark have sex. And then I think, 'Well, how do a whale and a shark have sex?'"

Looks like Bravo is still in need of a few good "Housewives." Rod Stewart's wife, Penny Lancaster, has declined to join the cast of "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" according to TMZ.
Stewart told TMZ, "She was asked but she turned it down." He added, "She doesn't want to do that sort of thing."
When the gossip site wondered if Stewart had something to do with her saying "no" to being a reality TV star, the rocker said, "Whatever she wants to do, she does, she's an independent woman." By way of an explanation, he said, "She's just happy being a mom." The two have two sons together, Alastair and Aiden.

The Duggars have traveled from Arkansas to Asia: A three-part special on TLC follows the reality family of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar and their 19 kids and grandkids as they navigate Tokyo, Kyoto, and Beijing.
The below teaser of the special, "19 Kids and Counting: Duggars Do Asia," which follows the family on its trip to the Far East, shows Jim Bob asking, again and again, "Do you speak English?" Says Michelle Duggar, "We couldn't communicate at all." Not that anything like a language barrier would stop this family from jumping in.
Eyeing an entire fish brought out with a flourish on a platter at a restaurant, one of the Duggar children says suspiciously, "It looked like it might still be alive."

Through the show "Britain's Got Talent," music mogul Simon Cowell gives lucky newcomers a boost. It appears he's also getting some help himself: A photo by the Sun of the judge's seat at show auditions in Glasgow revealed Simon's chair to have an extra pillow. A rep for the show has downplayed the evidence.
The sharp-tongued Cowell isn't afraid to lay on the critiques but seems to be sensitive to his own personal shortcoming: his size. At about 5-foot-9 unaided, the celebrity judge looks to be attempting to keep up with his taller co-judge.
This wouldn't be the first time Cowell has added to his height in sneaky ways -- he has been photographed in chunky Cuban heels, which give him some extra inches. The 53-year-old's spiky hairstyle might also help give the star a little lift.

Jessica Simpson will go from reality TV to scripted TV for her next venture: a comedy based on her life. Simpson will play herself in the unnamed sitcom being developed for NBC.
According to TV Guide, the network has greenlighted filming a presentation -- a pre-pilot that will give the network enough footage to consider ordering the show for the next season. The pilot will be written by executive producer Nick Bakay ("Zookeeper"), along with Ben Silverman -- who brought Simpson on to the reality competition "Fashion Star" -- and Simpson's manager and dad, Joe Simpson.
Simpson answers questions from "Fashion Star" fans:
