Kristen O'Connor has no regrets.
The Florida-native, who was the first "American Idol" finalist to be eliminated after she sang Kelly Clarkson's "Beautiful Disaster" last week, is looking forward, not back.
"I'm happy with the song I chose," O'Connor told Yahoo TV, despite having difficulty with her audio aid and pulling out her earpiece midway through her performance. "There was a click track, like a metronome, and it was never there during my rehearsals, so it was distracting."
The 24-year-old nurse tech said she was bummed about her early exit, but proud of her achievements. "I do wish I was able to show America more sides of me, like playing my guitar and something more upbeat. There was a good chance I was going to do a song with guitar [this week]," she shared. "But to be in the top 13, that's a dream come true."

How would you like professional fishing correspondent, Chippendales host, fitness model, or reality-TV staple on your résumé?
You might think a "job is a job," but several alums from "The Bachelor" have earned paychecks for some pretty bizarre professions. Take current rose slinger Juan Pablo Galavis; he has carved out time from globe-trekking makeout sessions for a gig as appliance repairmen. And he's not alone. Check out these off-beat occupations from some of his fellow "Bachelor" stud muffins.

Usher certainly doesn't lack confidence.
The "Without You" singer returned to his coaching chair on "The Voice" on Monday and told Yahoo TV during a press conference the same day that if he were a contestant during the blind auditions, he wouldn't have a problem getting that red chair to swivel around.
"Hell yeah, [I could get a chair to turn,]" the crooner boasted. "It's Usher, baby. I think I would be relentless."
In fact, the 35-year-old star, who got his start on "Star Search" at the age of 13, said he might even cause a little trouble on the set. "I probably would have been the first artist to step off the stage and be disqualified for getting in the coaches' face to find out why they didn't turn their chair for me."

Who needs a costume designer? Sofia Vergara certainly doesn’t!
The 41-year-old actress, who plays Gloria on "Modern Family," has taken her sassy character's style into her own hands and has been regularly plucking pieces from her personal wardrobe to outfit Gloria.
On Thursday, the cast of the Emmy-winning ABC sitcom hit Bondi Beach in Australia to film scenes for an upcoming episode. Vergara, aka Gloria, poured her curves into a neon Agent Provocateur Mazzy monokini and looked sizzling hot as she pranced around in the sand with co-star Ty Burrell. She paired her on-screen ensemble with a purple, pleated beach skirt. The swimsuit, which features sexy bandage-style cutouts and lime green, tangerine, and pink paneling, is none other than Vergara's.
Vergara stepped out in a nearly identical ensemble one year ago during an off-screen vacation to Greece with her fiancé Nick Loeb. At the time, she teamed her $450 swimsuit with a green pleated beach skirt.

Brooke Burke-Charvet definitely knows how to make a graceful exit.
Following Friday's shocking news that she will not return as a host on "Dancing With the Stars" next season, the 42-year-old took to Twitter to share her thoughts.
Thanks for all the love & support. I loved my time in the ballroom & I'll love my next chapter too. Change is positive. Love you guys!
Burke-Charvet has co-hosted the show alongside Tom Bergeron for eight seasons and also won the mirrorball trophy with partner Derek Hough on Season 7. The mother of four seemed shocked to learn that she would not be back in the ballroom next season. On Friday she tweeted,
Burke-Charvet's rep has not returned Yahoo's request for comment.

Is "The Price Is Right" putting Crisco on the floor, or what? Over the past two weeks on the iconic game show, two contestants have been sent tumbling to the ground. The latest game show gaffe took place Tuesday when contestant Judy put a little too much power into spinning the wheel. She spun it so hard that she was sent tumbling down on her tuchus and sprained her ankle during the fall. Judy was advised to seek medical attention, but refused to leave because she made it to the Showcase Showdown.

Every man needs an Uncle Phil… Will Smith broke his silence Monday morning on Facebook and shared a few words about his "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" co-star James Avery, 68, who passed away on Dec. 31. Smith, 45, posted a photo of the last time he and Avery were together, and it also features several other members of the fictional Banks family: Karyn Parsons (Hilary), Alfonso Ribeiro (Carlton), Tatyana M. Ali (Ashley). The A-lister also included a touching note as a tribute to his late friend.
In the hit '90s sitcom, Smith's character looked to his Uncle Phil as a father after his own parents sent him to live in the posh Los Angeles neighborhood. Uncle Phil was always there for Will as a source of sound advice and was known for his quick quips about Will's many silly blunders. The "After Earth" actor wasn't the only star from the six-season show that thought of Avery as a mentor and a teacher. Ribeiro and Ali both shared similar sentiments on Twitter.

Jimmy Kimmel is in hot water!
On Saturday, hundreds of protesters targeted ABC Studios in Burbank, Houston, and Phoenix to protest the Oct. 16 segment of "Jimmy Kimmel Live" where one of the late night host's tiniest guests suggested that we should "kill everyone in China."
The comment was made by a young boy during an unscripted segment called "Kids' Table," after Kimmel asked a roundtable of children how the United States should repay its $1.3 trillion debt to China. Both ABC and Kimmel have since apologized for the comment, and are no longer airing "Kids' Table."
ABC said at the time, "We offer our sincere apology. We would never purposefully broadcast anything to upset the Chinese community, Asian community, anyone of Chinese descent, or any community at large. Our objective is to entertain." Kimmel added, "I just want to say I am sorry. I apologize. It was certainly not my intent to upset anyone."
However, Chinese-American groups and protesters refuse to accept the apology. ABC Studios has not responded to Yahoo TV's request for comment regarding the protests.

Is there anything the kids of "Duck Dynasty" haven't done? The Robertson family cemented their status as Louisiana royalty on October 18, when three of their offspring, Sadie 16, her brother, John Luke, and their cousin, Cole Robertson, landed spots in their high school homecoming court!
The kids clearly had a blast fulfilling their royal roles, and naturally the tight-knit family got in on the fun, posting photos of the ceremonies. "Duck" mom, Korie Robertson, documented the timeless high school tradition by posting a snap of herself sandwiched between her two children. John Luke, who served as a junior escort, looked handsome in a black tux, while Sadie, who was named a sophomore maid, donned a red dress. But that was just the beginning of Sadie's homecoming fashions!
