    • Five Times Ben Affleck Was Really Funny [Video]

The Oscar winner is set to host "Saturday Night Live" for the fifth time.

Actor, director, and Oscar winner Ben Affleck is hosting the season finale of "Saturday Night Live" this week, marking his entry into the exclusive Five-Timers Club (most recent inductee: Justin Timberlake).

While Affleck is best known for his dramatic roles, he has proved in his previous four hosting gigs that he can do comedy (and no, not just in a "so bad it's funny" way). Let's look back his five funniest sketches:

      1. "Countdown With Keith Olbermann"

This 2008 sketch is truly one of the great sketches of all time. In what was already a strong season for impressions — it was Amy Poehler's heyday as Hillary Clinton — Affleck delivered a devastating send-up of the hyperbole-loving, perpetually outraged news anchor.

      2. "Frett's Film Forum"

Wow, talk about an "SNL" star lineup — this 2000 sketch features Will Ferrell, Ana Gasteyer, Jimmy Fallon, and Cheri Oteri. They and Affleck play pun-tastic film critics who speak in

    • 'The Vampire Diaries' Season Finale: Does Elena Choose Stefan or Damon?

Graduation looms as Bonnie works to restore the veil.

When a door closes, a window opens.

It's the end of an era on "The Vampire Diaries" as the Mystic Falls gang finally graduates from high school. But their adventures are just beginning, as they go off to college, hit the road, and embark on new relationships.

Season 4 has thrown a lot of changes at these characters. Elena now loves Damon, not Stefan. Bonnie is dead. Jeremy was dead and is alive again. Matt is road-tripping with Rebekah. Caroline ... well, Caroline is still the same girl who's in love with Tyler. (Then again, there seemed to be more than gratitude in her eyes when Klaus told her that Tyler was free.)

Katherine is human (!); Stefan is locked in a safe at the bottom of a lake (!!) while his doppelganger, Silas (!!!), is roaming around with a vengeance.

    • 'Scandal' Season Finale: Do Fitz and Olivia Stay Together?

When the "Scandal" Season 2 finale ended, Twitter combusted with one word: WHAT?!

It seemed that there was nothing "Scandal" could do to top what had come before it: election rigging, Supreme Court justice murdering, insanely hot White House sex, a government mole, the return of a "dead" character. But with one word uttered by Olivia Pope, "Scandal" proved us wrong.

      "Dad?!"

Yes, Mystery Boss Guy -- the one who met Jake on the park bench, the one who said he'd "handle" Olivia, the one who ordered Cyrus to keep the president in check -- is Olivia Pope's father. WHAT?!

Seriously, craziest paternity reveal since Darth Vader told Luke he was his father!

      Back from the dead

Billy Chambers is the mole?! Even Olivia can't process it. Like, isn't he supposed to be dead, Huck? Turns out he contracted that job to his buddy Charlie.

"Modern Family" actor tweeted for a wake-up call.

Hubby is not going to be happy about this!

"Modern Family" star Eric Stonestreet appears to have tweeted out onscreen spouse Jesse Tyler Ferguson's private phone number to his half-million followers Tuesday night!

He soon deleted it, but we got a screen capture:

When we called the number, it did appear to be Ferguson's: "Hi, you've reached Jesse Tyler Ferguson's personal voicemail..."

Stonestreet replaced the tweet with a less revealing one:

Still, no doubt some eagle-eyed "Modern Family" fans have already filled up that voicemail box.

Maybe Ferguson should buy his TV husband an alarm clock!

"Modern Family" airs Wednesdays at 9 PM on ABC.

    • The Secret to Getting 'Vampire' Blood Out of Your Hair

"Vampire Diaries" star Candice Accola dishes show secrets.

Even if the blood on "The Vampire Diaries" is fake, it's still as messy as the real stuff. So what do the cast members do to clean up after a bloody scene?

"Shaving cream," reveals star Candice Accola (Caroline). “You leave it on for a couple minutes and then it washes right off. Especially in your hair … it's impossible to get out otherwise."

Accola sat down with "The Daily Shot's" Ali Wentworth to dish about what fans can expect after tonight's heart-stopping finale. Her character will come to a major crossroads, she teases. The writers told her, "'We’re either going to have Caroline go behind door A, B, or C.' And they’re completely different storylines!"

    • Throwback Thursday: Is That a Ghost or Jimmy Fallon? [Photo]

The late-night TV host is very pale in an old prom photo.

      Warning: Put on your sunglasses!

When "Late Night" host Jimmy Fallon posted a photo of himself at his prom, we were nearly blinded by his extremely pale white face.

No wonder Fallon does such a great impression of "Twilight" star Robert Pattinson — their complexions are identical!

This isn't the first high school prom pic that Fallon has posted. The "Late Night" Tumblr featured two photos of the host with date Lori Mullen.

These days, Fallon looks tanner and less ghostlike. Though, if he were still as pale as he was in high school, he could open the show by scaring audience members. Boo!

    • Scott Foley on 'Scandal' Season Finale: Cast Members' 'Minds Were Blown'

Is Jake a good guy or bad guy?

Just when you think "Scandal" can't get more scandalicious, the show tops itself.

After the shocking reveal of the mole last week, Thursday night's jaw-dropping season finale just might break Twitter.

"There are going to be huge questions — questions you didn't even know you had — that will be asked," teased Scott Foley, who plays Cpt. Jake Ballard. "When we read it at the table read, our minds were blown. We had no idea."

And there will be answers, too. Might one of those be whether Jake is a good or bad guy?

"Jake is an interesting character. His relationship with Olivia is questionable. Is he there because he has been told to be there? And by there, I mean in a relationship with her. Or are his feelings genuine?" Foley said. "It's something we'll find out more about in the season finale."

One thing's for sure: The stars will be along for the roller coaster ride with fans on Twitter, which Katie Lowes (Quinn) credits with

    • All In the Family: CBS Explains Mysterious 'Survivor: Blood vs. Water' Concept

Season 27 of the hit reality show will feature returning players and their relatives.

Love is war! That's the concept behind the next season of "Survivor," which will feature "the return of great characters and their relatives," said CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler.

On Sunday's finale of "Survivor: Caramoan," host Jeff Probst showed a brief teaser video of blood spilling into water. Fans began to speculate on Twitter about what it meant, and sites like Reality Blurred revealed spoilers that Season 27 would include family members.

"I'm very stoked about what we're doing," Probst told the Hollywood Reporter. "It's another big twist to the game. Risky for sure, but that's what makes it so appealing"

Neither Tassler nor Probst explained how the format would work, if the returning players would team up with their relatives or battle them on opposite tribes.

In fact, the comedian who created the original British series has watched only a few episodes of the American version.

"You know, it wasn't my baby. It was my rights, so I cashed the checks," he says in GQ's June Comedy Issue. "I think it was good, but I didn't have the same emotional attachment to it."

"Now and again I'd watch one on a plane."

Gervais recently resurrected his "Office" boss, David Brent, in a short sketch for Red Nose Day. Some critics believe he did it to feel popular again after dismal reviews of his newest show, "Derek."

    • Bill Hader Leaving 'Saturday Night Live'

Saturday's season finale will be the cast member's final show.

Goodbye, Stefon. Goodbye, Al Pacino. Goodbye, James Carville. Goodbye, Julian Assange.

      Goodbye, Bill Hader.

After eight seasons, the veteran "Saturday Night Live" cast member is leaving the show. Saturday's season finale, hosted by Ben Affleck, will be his final performance.

"It was a hard decision, but it has to happen at some point," Hader told The New York Times. "It got to a point where I said, 'Maybe it's just time to go.'"

[Video: 'SNL' Icons Welcome Justin Timberlake to the Five-Timers Club]

He will be missed. Hader's memorable characters not only made him a fan favorite, but earned him "SNL's" only Emmy nomination for best supporting comedy actor.

"SNL" boss Lorne Michaels compared him to Dan Aykroyd in his "intelligence and talent."

"He was so completely committed to the art of it and enough a student of it that there's something strikingly original," Michaels said.

Hader began contemplating his departure after friends Kristen Wiig and Andy Samberg left last season. Not only is
