George R.R. Martin and Parris McBrideGeorge R.R. Martin may be as rich as a Lannister, but he lives as simply as the Starks.

Despite making $15 million a year, according to a Forbes estimate, the "Game of Thrones" author hasn't let fame or fortune change him. Instead of living in a Casterly Rock-like mansion, he resides in a modest home in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Instead of dining on lavish feasts, he eats at local restaurants, like Maria's New Mexican Kitchen. And rather than hiding away in a royal palanquin, he welcomes fans who approach him and make pilgrimages to his town.

"Oh, yeah, I've had people at the house, constant emails and phone calls," Martin told the Telegraph. When one of his three assistants teased him about taking his number out of the phone book, he replied, "Yeah, but I don't like to do that kind of thing. I don't want the fame to go to my head."

A new E! show asks, "What Would Ryan Lochte Do?"

Well, the answer is: Make two veteran TV anchors howl with laughter after an interview.

The Olympic gold medal-winning swimmer appeared on "Good Day Philly" to promote his new reality series, which debuts Sunday night. But in classic Lochte fashion, he stumbled over his words and even paused for five or so seconds (an eternity in live television).

When anchor Mike Jerrick asked what kind of line a woman could use on him, Lochte fell completely silent. Then, anchor Sheinelle Jones prompted him to talk about balancing partying with training, and Lochte dropped one of his sage pieces of advice: "My philosophy is if you're a man at night, you've got to be a man in the morning."

After the awkward interview, Lochte's satellite feed cuts off, and Jerrick and Jones began cracking up. Jones doubled over with laughter and had to wipe away tears. An amused Jerrick, meanwhile, wondered, "Seriously, how are they going to get enough material [for a

The Dog is back and with a bigger bite than ever.

A year after the end of A&E's popular reality series "Dog the Bounty Hunter," the titular star (real name: Duane Chapman) returns with a new show on CMT. His loyal wife, Beth, is hunting by his side, but missing are two of his three grown children.

"Dog and Beth: On the Hunt" premieres Sunday, but a sneak preview last week showed that the Chapman family is still torn apart. At the end of the A&E series, sons Duane Lee and Leland quit or were fired after arguing with Beth. Rumors swirled that Duane Lee and Beth clashed over money.

Meanwhile, Dog's daughter, "Baby" Lyssa, had already been suspended from the business after getting arrested for criminal property damage and assaulting a police officer.

Duane Lee and Baby Lyssa did not appear in the "On the Hunt" preview, and from interviews that Beth has done, it seems that they won't be back anytime soon. But Leland is starting to patch things up with his father.

Because of this week's Boston Marathon bombing and subsequent manhunt, NBC has decided to pull next week's episode of "Hannibal" out of concern over its disturbing content.

Episode 4 of the serial-killer drama, which was slated to air next Thursday, featured Molly Shannon's character brainwashing children to murder other kids. It will not be rescheduled; instead, "Hannibal" will skip it entirely and move on to Episode 5. NBC notes that continuity will not be affected.

Series creator Bryan Fuller told Variety that he did not want audience members to have a "negative experience" watching the show. And after the Boston bombings and December's Sandy Hook school shooting, he and the network felt it was appropriate to pull the episode.

"With this episode, it wasn't about the graphic imagery or violence," he said. "It was the associations that came with the subject matter that I felt would inhibit the enjoyment of the overall

Prom is kind of the worst, isn't it?

Seriously, has anyone ever had a great prom? One without drama, mean-girl gossiping, crying in the bathroom, or boyfriend stealing?

Of course, Mystic Falls' prom is no different -- well, it's on a bit of a different scale. There's dress stealing as well as attempted murder. But in a town full of vampires, werewolves, and hybrids, it goes off pretty well ... considering.

More interesting, though, are the pairings of couples past, present, and possibly future. Let's check in on the various 'ships, shall we?

Elena and Stefan

Forgive us a melodramatic sigh; way back when, in Season 1, we thought these two would be prom queen and king. Alas, not only are they broken up, but Elena has no feelings to spare -- for Stefan or Damon. Nor Bonnie or Caroline; in fact, she steals the latter's prom dress!

After Corinne and then Michael were voted out, it seemed that Reynold, Eddie, and Malcolm (REM) were doomed. But in a head-spinning turn of events, Malcolm finds another immunity idol (does he have some gene that lets him sniff them out?) and uses it and the one he already had to save himself and Eddie.

With Reynold already holding the immunity challenge necklace, the three boys are all safe. That means, someone from Stealth R Us has to go -- and REM goes for the jugular. The head of the stealthy snake. The godfather of the favorites.

They go for Phillip.

Yes, despite his plan to mimic Boston Rob's march to victory, the Secret Agent is voted out. Goodbye, weird nicknames. Arrivederci, made-up excuses. Farewell, pink underpants. May it be a long time ere we see you again.

Back from Tribal Council, Stealth R Us

On "Survivor: Caramoan," the new Dawn might be more ruthless, but she's still a big crier.

She cried after voting out Francesca, shed tears over Brandon's epic breakdown, then wept by the well before the merge. It was just a matter of time before she had a big meltdown of her own, and it looks like it happens this week.

In our exclusive sneak peek at Wednesday night's new episode, Cochran and Phillip are discussing whether Dawn can win the game when they hear her cry out, "Brenda! I need you quick!"

Dawn stands at the end of the dock, bawling into her hands. The others look concerned when they hear her yowl, and Brenda runs off to find her nearly doubled over with sobs. "I'm so embarrassed," she cries.

The big, lovable, duck-hunting, sweet tea-swilling family of "Duck Dynasty" is anchored by long-standing, rock-solid marriages. The Robertson couples -- from patriarch and matriarch Phil and Kay on down to their sons and daughters-in-law -- are definitely having and holding, for richer and for poorer (definitely richer, though), in sickness and in health, for as long as they both shall live.
