The magic of the high wire has left the circus tent and the safety net behind, at least when it comes to Nik Wallenda, "The King of the Wire." The daredevil high-wire artist, acrobat, and six-time Guinness World Record holder will be traversing the Grand Canyon -- 1,500 feet above the Little Colorado River -- and the entire spectacle will air live on the Discovery Channel.

In this exclusive promo for the upcoming TV event, titled "Skywire Live with Nik Wallenda," he shares some of the details of his awesome undertaking. "This walk, you know, [is] five football fields long. It doesn't make sense in your mind. I look at this, and that's 1,500 feet high, but there's no cars over there; there's no people; there's nothing to kind of relate to. So you can't grasp the magnitude of it," he says while sitting on the edge of the canyon.

    • 'The Big Bang Theory' Season 6 Finale: Sheldon Walks, Raj Talks!

Leonard leaves for a four-month at-sea expedition; Raj doesn't need booze to talk to the ladies.

Season 6 of CBS's megahit comedy "The Big Bang Theory" didn't go out with a bang so much as with a splash. Leonard (Johnny Galecki) is off to a North Sea expedition orchestrated by Stephen Hawking. (Dream job!) He can thank Howard (Simon Helberg) for giving him a recommendation. The downside: He'll be gone for four months.

It's not Penny (Kaley Cuoco) who tries to keep her beau around, though, it's his BFF Sheldon (Jim Parsons), who delivers some pretty low blows trying to keep him home. And let's just say that Leonard is not impressed with his "blend of concern and selfishness."

"Did you know that the highest number of drowning accidents happen on or around boats?" Sheldon asks his bud, before suggesting that it could ruin his relationship with Penny. It's a good thing she supports her man — for now, at least.

But ever irrationally rational, Sheldon takes some cues from humankind (i.e., Penny) and decides to

    • 'The Office' Finale: Strippers, Wedding Bells, and One Last 'That's What She Said'

Michael Scott shows up as Dwight's best man.

"The Office" has clocked out for good, but the lives of Dunder Mifflin's finest (and not so finest) go on. But, wait ... did we ever get to see the final documentary, "The Office: An American Workplace," that's been at the center of it all? We sure did; in fact, we've been watching it for the last eight years. The finale — which takes place one year after the doc started airing — signed off on all the right notes: with love (Dwight and Angela's wedding!), Jim pulling the ultimate prank on Dwight, a kidnapping (oh, Mose!), and a touching celebration of all the unlikely friendships that formed at the small Scranton paper company.

Best of all, everyone showed up — and, oh yes, we mean everyone! It happened, and (sniff, sniff), it was perfect. Steve Carell came back as Michael Scott for one last hurrah and one last "That's what she said." And the circumstances couldn't have been better.

Check out Carrell's return as Michael Scott to "The Office":

As Alan Sepinwall at HitFix put it, the

Josh Saviano, who played Paul Pfeiffer, once considered getting onstage with the shock rocker.

Josh Saviano — who played Paul Pfeiffer on the nostalgic dramedy "The Wonder Years" — swears that he's not Marilyn Manson! The rumor has run rampant for years, but Marilyn Manson's real name is Brian Warner, and Paul Saviano is now a New York City corporate attorney. "I think actually it was one of the very first Internet rumors, because it was 1994. The Internet was just sort of becoming mainstream, particularly on college campuses. It was just perfect timing and the perfect storm," Saviano said in a rare on-camera interview for Yahoo!'s "The Yo Show."

Saviano was a freshman in college when he first heard the rumor, and guess who told him about it? None other than "Wonder Years" hottie Danica McKellar, who played Winnie Cooper. "I had no idea who [Marilyn Manson] was at the time. So I'd spoke to one of my friends at school who did know who he was. It became a progressively more entertaining storyline

The undead are popping up in Portland, and not the slow, lumbering kind. These zombies are filled with rage, move quickly, and are wreaking havoc. "I know he looks dead, and he probably was for a little while, but he's not now," says Det. Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli), while he and the gang are handcuffing a body.

      Can Gus resist her advances?

Can Gus (Dule Hill) control himself when faced with a sexy, scantily clad suspected murderer? Did we mention that she's played by the stunning Garcelle Beauvais? In this exclusive sneak peek at this week's episode, "Dead Air," Gus is doing all he can to avoid her advances and help crack the case of a murdered radio DJ.

Gus is having dinner with Miranda (Beauvais), and she's not holding anything back in a slinky black minidress. "I like how you know your way around a chicken leg. How do you do with the human kind?" she asks, kicking her leg up on a chair. He manages to stay focused and ask her about the crime, which he thinks has something to do with her assets at the radio station and a bad business deal.

Castle knows what he wants, and he wants Beckett.

It all came down to love vs. career on the Season 5 "Castle" finale, "Watershed," as Det. Kate Beckett (Stana Katic) deceived her beau and crime-solving partner Richard Castle (Nathan Fillion). She wove a pretty tangled web, but we're not too mad at her. Sometimes it's hard to navigate life's crossroads, and she is at a doozy. After sneaking off to a life-changing job interview with Deputy Det. Anthony Freedman (Kyle Secor) in Washington and getting caught red-handed by Castle, their entire relationship is called into question. Will she or won't she go? Will it spell doom for Caskett? And, oh my goodness… will she say yes?!

      So busted

It's obvious to Det. Javier Esposito (Jon Huertas) and Det. Kevin Ryan (Seamus Dever) that Beckett's distracted. She keeps her job prospect hush-hush, but she should have known that keeping a

In this exclusive sneak peek at "Countdown to China," the happy couple are pulling out all the adorable stops as they prep for their highly anticipated journey.

What essentials are Bill and Jen taking to Asia? Superhero undies for Will and matching sneakers for the whole family. "Did you get me matching underwear so we can, like, hang out on the couch together?" Bill asks. "In your underwear? No, I did not get you matching underwear. • 'How I Met Your Mother' Cast Weighs In on Season 8 Finale, Mother's Identity [Video]

"How I Met Your Mother" is inching ever closer to revealing the "mother of all secrets." It could happen during tonight's Season 8 finale (the buildup to Robin and Barney's wedding!) as the below promo teases, or more likely, we'll have to wait until the ninth and final season of the long-running sitcom to meet Mrs. Mosby. But as Jason Segal (Marshall) put it in a behind-the-scenes cast interview, "It's gonna get weird if we don't meet the mother soon. We're gonna be, like, 60," adding, "This last episode really sets up the process of meeting the mother."

Neil Patrick Harris (Barney) is pretty confident that it will be a Season 9 reveal, saying, "My suspicion is that they're not even going to reveal the mother until the end of the series." Cobie Smulders (Robin) always imagined that it would happen in the series finale but is rethinking her stance: "I don't know; I think that it would be cool to have [the mother] integrated into the story more than that."

    • Oscar Nuñez Insists 'Office' Cast Doesn't Pull Pranks [Video]

Pranks and NBC's "The Office" have been practically synonymous since Episode 1. Who can forget Dwight's stapler in the Jell-O? But guess what, Dunder Mifflin fans: The pranks are all fiction for the cast of NBC's soon-to-end sitcom, according to Oscar Nuñez, who plays accountant Oscar Martinez. "Why are you guys hung up on pranks? Everybody wants pranks!" Nuñez told Ben Lyons of Yahoo!'s "The Sidebar," when Lyons asked about on-set shenanigans. "It's a job. We just go to work like everyone else. We're not big pranksters," Nuñez added before driving his point home by suggesting that infamous prankster George Clooney subcontracts his pranks.
