    • Woo Hoo! 'Simpsons' Fans Will Soon Be Able to Visit Springfield

A theme park modeled after the animation's infamous town of Springfield is coming to Universal Orlando.

If you're a "Simpsons" fan who has always wanted to visit Springfield, you're about to get your chance. Universal Orlando is building a new area modeled on the famous family's hometown.

From the looks of a concept video released by Universal, pretty much all the classic Springfield establishments will be there. Anyone craving a "meat-flavored" sandwich can head over to Krusty Burger. Got a hankering for fish? Set sail for the Frying Dutchman! For folks over 21, Moe's Tavern should offer watered-down beverages, dank environs, and, perhaps in the back room, a panda-smuggling operation.

Feel like buying some overpriced and likely expired food? Apu should have you covered at the Kwik-E-Mart. And if you're looking to buy the latest issue of Biclops or Milhouse’s favorite Carl Yastrzemski baseball card with the big sideburns, take a stroll to the Android's Dungeon & Baseball Card Shop, where rude service awaits.

    • Did Jimmy Kimmel Purchase the Nude Bea Arthur Painting?

@realjeffreyross/TwitterThe painting of Bea Arthur in the buff was recently purchased on May 15 for a whopping $1.9 million. The buyer, it turns out, was not late night talk show host, Jimmy Kimmel, who joked about buying it as a gift for his friend and fellow comedian Jeffrey Ross.

On Friday, Ross tweeted a photo of himself standing behind the piece of art. The caption read, "Biggest surprise of my life. Thank you @JimmyKimmel — the most generous guy in the world!”

Kimmel responded on Twitter writing, "@RealJeffreyRoss Bea is watching over us, but especially you."

Later, Kimmel tweeted: "Contrary to 'news' reports, I didn't buy the Bea Arthur painting — not even for @realjeffreyross — but I did buy the Mona Lisa Lampanelli"

The Hollywood Reporter, who first reported the story of the hefty 'purchase,' confirmed from a Kimmel rep that the painting Ross was photographed with was not the actual painting, but a prop that was created for "Jimmy

    • Barry Williams Raps About Being 'The Real Greg Brady' [Video]

Three of the original cast members from "The Brady Bunch" visited Kings Island amusement park in outside of Cincinnati, Ohio, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of one of the show's most famous episodes.

Barry Williams (Greg Brady), Christopher Knight (Peter Brady), and Susan Olsen (Cindy Brady) spoke in a packed auditorium about the 1973 episode that was filmed at the theme park. The three former child stars also reminisced about the iconic sitcom as well as what their lives are like now.

Things took a turn for the lyrical when Williams told the audience that he sometimes has a hard time explaining to his son just how famous he was and (in certain circles, anyway) continues to be. Williams said that he realized he had to explain his fame in terms his son would understand.

So, Williams rapped. Or should we say attempted to rap? To the tune of Eminem's "The Real Slim Shady," Williams dropped truth about being "the real Greg

    • Matthew Perry's Awkward Rinkside Chat With Reporter [Video]

Go ahead and cringe now, because this clip is mighty awkward.

Rinkside reporter Dan Moriarty interviewed actor Matthew Perry at a recent Los Angeles Kings playoff game. After a bit of small talk about a Kings goal, Moriarty shifted the chat to show biz. Bad move. The reporter seemed unaware that Perry's show, "Go On," had just been canceled.

"For a guy like you," Moriarty said. "Big news today, and congratulations is in order."

Perry had to be confused or annoyed by the comment, but he still responded with a diplomatic answer that acknowledged the hardworking people who had lost their jobs. "Oh, thank you. You're talking about my show getting canceled. It was sort of a sad day because of the people, and I'm gonna miss them."

Perry then deadpanned, "But this show I was doing was really getting in the way of some Kings games."

Moriarty appears to try to recover, saying something about

    • Kate Danson: Five Facts on Ted's Daughter

Danson's daughter will appear on a "CSI" episode in April.

Kate Danson, daughter of "CSI" star Ted Danson, is set to appear alongside her dad in an upcoming episode of the hugely popular crime show. News of the casting sent Web searches on Kate Danson skyrocketing.

And that's not hyperbole. In the past 24 hours, Kate Danson has become one of Yahoo's top 300 overall search terms, putting her ahead of perennial favorites Kate Upton, Tiger Woods, and (gasp!) Justin Bieber.

Though she's by no means as well-known as her famous father, the lovely Ms. Danson has built an impressive career in Hollywood. Below, five facts on the suddenly celebrated Kate Danson.

      1. This isn't the first time she's acted opposite her dad.

In 1989, Ted Danson starred in "Cousins," a romance about two married people who fall in love. According to IMDb, Kate appeared on screen. Look closely during a wedding reception scene and you'll see a (very) young Kate watching a video on TV.

    • Leno Calls NBC Executives 'Snakes' During 'Tonight Show' Monologue [Video]

Jay Leno calling NBC executives "snakes" during his "Tonight Show" monologue on Monday night was just the latest joke aimed at the bigwigs at the Peacock network.

Leno said, "You know the whole legend of St. Patrick, right? St. Patrick drove all the snakes out of Ireland... and then they came to the United States and became NBC executives. It's a fascinating story." The crowd gasped following the joke.

The New York Times reported that Robert Greenblatt, NBC's entertainment chief, sent a memo to Leno following a February 28 show in which the late night host joked about NBC's dismal performance in the ratings. "It's so bad, 'The Biggest Loser' isn't just a TV show anymore. It's our new motto," said Leno.

The Hollywood Reporter recently reported that NBC is hoping to move Jimmy Fallon behind the "Tonight Show" desk in 2014, even though Leno still brings in strong ratings. Entertainment Weekly reports that NBC insiders have denied the rumor.

    • Actor Who Plays the Devil on History's 'The Bible' Looks Like Obama

The actor who plays the devil on the History channel's "The Bible" bears more than a passing resemblance to President Obama, a fact that hasn't gone unnoticed on social media.

So, was it intentional? Responding to the speculation, the History released a statement saying, "History channel has the highest respect for President Obama. The series was produced with an international and diverse cast of respected actors. It's unfortunate that anyone made this false connection. History's 'The Bible' is meant to enlighten people on its rich stories and deep history."

Executive Producers, Mark Burnett and Roma Downey called the connection "utter nonsense." And Downey said, "Both Mark and I have nothing but respect and love for our President, who is a fellow Christian. False statements such as these are just designed as a foolish distraction to try and discredit the beauty of the story of 'The Bible.'"

    • Showtime's 'The Vatican' Casts 'Downfall's' Hitler as Its Pope

Francis isn't the only newly anointed pontiff.

Showtime announced that it has cast the role of Pope Sixtus VI for its new series, "The Vatican." Getting the holy role: Bruno Ganz.

Showtime describes Ganz's character as "an unassuming and introspective caretaker of the Church, who struggles with his own legacy, and how history will judge his papacy."

Which is pretty much the opposite of the role Ganz is best known for. In 2004, the highly respected German actor gave a tour-de-force performance as Adolf Hitler in "Downfall."

The film focused on the last days in Hitler's underground bunker during the end of World War II. Ganz's critically acclaimed performance became something of an Internet meme several years ago when people began inserting humorous subtitles during scenes in which an insane and irrational Hitler screams at his subordinates.

    • NYPD investigating 911 calls from Katie Couric's dead husband

Katie Couric has become the focus of one strange investigation.

The NYPD is probing a series of mysterious 911 calls apparently originating from a phone line registered to Couric's late husband, Jay Monahan.

Monahan died in 1998 after a battle with colon cancer. But, according to the New York Daily News, his phone dials 911 every Tuesday around 2 a.m. There have been at least 10 instances of the calls since last month, according to the Daily News.

Couric relayed the bizarre story to her studio audience during a commercial break this week. She says she asked NYPD Commissioner Raymond Kelly to investigate the matter.

"So I called Ray Kelly, who I know just through the years seeing at different things. 'Ray, this is so weird but can you help me? I don’t know what to do,'" Couric told the audience, per an eyewitness account in the Daily News.

Whenever the mysterious calls are made, the police call back to check. In addition, a patrol car is sent to investigate. Couric told her audience

    • See Al Pacino as Phil Spector in upcoming HBO biopic [Video]

A film about legendary record producer and convicted murderer Phil Spector will premiere on HBO next month. The network released its first trailer for the anticipated flick, starring Al Pacino as Spector and Helen Mirren as his conflicted attorney.

The story of Spector's downfall is grisly. He pioneered the Wall of Sound recording technique utilized by the Beatles, the Ronettes, and John Lennon. Incredibly wealthy but terribly volatile, Spector was accused of shooting and killing actress Lana Clarkson ("Fast Times at Ridgemont High") in 2003. The first trial ended with a hung jury, but the second resulted in Spector's conviction.

Based on the trailer, the film (written and directed by David Mamet) will take a media-circus type of approach to the material. Pacino is vintage Pacino. He yells and fires a pistol into the air, while Mirren frets over whether her client is guilty of murder. "They let O.J. go. They let Michael Jackson go. They are not gonna let him go," Mirren's character
