    • Is Ann Curry leaving 'Today'?

Will Ann Curry be replaced by Savannah Guthrie? Is Ann Curry on the outs with NBC? According to numerous sources, including The New York Times and USA Today, "Today" show host is in talks to leave the morning news program after a rocky first year on the job.

Curry replaced the popular Meredith Vierra as co-host alongside Matt Lauer last June. Since then, the "Today" show has run into ratings problems. During sweeps, "Today" lost its longtime status as the top morning news program to its ABC rival, "Good Morning America." For the first time in more than 800 weeks, ABC took the ratings crown. You can be sure that was a bitter pill to swallow at NBC.

The New York Times reports that officials from NBC are discussing whether Curry will stay at the peacock network in a different role. Curry has hired an attorney to represent her during the talks. CBS News reports that Curry has shown an increased interest in international reporting in recent years.

Despite the rumors, Curry remained completely professional during Thursday morning's

    • Charlene Tilton returns to 'Dallas' [Video]

Tilton back in her 'Dallas' days, and now (Everett Collection, Amanda Edwards/Getty Images)Familiar faces came out of the woodwork on Wednesday night's premiere of the revamped "Dallas." Larry Hagman and Patrick Duffy made their returns. Ditto for Linda Gray and Ken Kercheval. But the real excitement (in the Search box, anyway) came when Charlene Tilton ambled onto the screen.

For those who remember nothing of the iconic "Dallas" series, Tilton played Lucy Ewing, the rambunctious niece of slick oilman J.R. Ewing. Tilton became incredibly popular through her portrayal of the '80s primetime hit’s wild child; she even appeared on the cover of People magazine several times.

Tilton appeared in many more TV shows, including favorites like "The Love Boat," "Murder, She Wrote," and "Fantasy Island." And she resurfaced last night on the new-look "Dallas," as Lucy and Ray Krebbs (Steve Kanaly) returned to Southfork to attend the wedding of Bobby's adopted son Christopher (Jesse Metcalfe).

Several decades later, Tilton still has

Television personality and "Dancing With the Stars" contestant Maria Menounos visited Howard Stern's radio show Monday where she opened up about her experience with sexual abuse.

Menounos, who hosts "Extra," said she was assaulted by a doctor. She went to the doctor for a throat issue and was told to change into a hospital gown. The doctor then molested Menounos.

"I was really young, so I was so uncomfortable. ... [My boyfriend] Kevin was in the waiting room and I literally started screaming. ... I was just so uncomfortable, I didn’t know what to do," Menounos said.

On other occasions, Menonos said male gynecologists complimented her on her belly ring and then touched it. She says she now brings her boyfriend, Kevin Undergaro, with her to the examination room every time. The two have been dating for fourteen years.

    • Jerry O'Connell to Play Herman Munster

NBC is rebooting "The Munsters," and you'll never believe who is playing the family patriarch, Herman Munster. Or maybe you will, because he's been on a slew of other shows already. Jerry O'Connell, best known for being married to Rebecca Romijn, will do his best to fill Fred Gwynne's sizable shoes.

The show, which will be called "Mockingbird Lane," will also feature Eddie Izzard as Grandpa Munster and Mason Cook as the werewolf Eddie. TVLine is reporting that the pilot episode will be directed by Bryan Singer ("X-Men," "The Usual Suspects").

Clearly, NBC has high hopes for the show, but one has to wonder whether casting O'Connell was the right move. After all, his track record is not good. Over the past several years, he's starred in "The Defenders" (canceled after one season), "Do Not Disturb" (canceled after one season), and "Carpoolers" (canceled after one season).

O'Connell does have a few hits under his belt. He was the chubby kid, Vern, in "Stand by Me" and played stud

    • Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka talk about fatherhood [Video]

Actor Neil Patrick Harris and partner David Burtka spoke with Oprah Winfrey about how they will explain to their kids why they have two fathers instead of a mom and a dad once the kids reach a certain age.

Chatting with Winfrey on her OWN show "Oprah's Next Chapter," Harris responded that he wants his children, one-year-old twins Harper and Gideon (born via surrogate), to have information. "The way they were brought into this world was unique and weirdly scientific... but it came because we really, really wanted kids. We really had thought it through -- financially, emotionally, relationship-wise. ... We didn't just accidentally get pregnant."

Oprah then remarked, "Same-sex couples -- in order to have a child -- means you really, really, really, really have to do a lot of work to make that happen. So if you're a same-sex couple that has a child it means that child is so loved and so wanted." Oprah called it an a-ha moment.

    • 'American Idol' Loses TV Ratings Crown to Football

Is "American Idol" no longer the cultural titan it once was? The numbers are in for last night's season finale. Not even the notoriously kind Judge J.Lo would have been impressed.

For the first time in a long time, “Idol” won’t finish as the top-rated program in primetime. According to preliminary numbers, NBC’s “Sunday Night Football” will go down as this season’s top-ranked program. The NFL game of the week averaged around 20.7 million viewers, while "Idol's" Wednesday edition averaged 19.7 million viewers this season. With big NFL ratings come big numbers for the league. Last December, according to The Hollywood Reporter, “the NFL pre-emptively renewed TV rights deals with CBS, Fox, and NBC for nine years (through 2022) at an average increase of 7 percent per network that will take revenue for the NFL from $1.93 billion annually to $3.1 billion by 2022.”

Wednesday night’s ‘Idol’ finale "delivered a preliminary 6.1/18 among adults 18-49." That's down 32% from last year. Preliminary

    • Five Facts About Mr. T on His 60th Birthday

Mr. T, the mohawk-rocking, gold-chain-wearing, fool-pitying maniac, is 60 years old today. In honor of the beloved television star, here are five facts you might not have known. Quit yer jibber jabber and read on, sucka.

What's up with the gold chains?
Mr. T isn't just about bling. The chains serve a purpose. Historically, Mr. T wore them in honor of African slaves who were forced to wear chains. In his biography, he explained, "The gold chains are a symbol that reminds me of my great African ancestors, who were brought over here as slaves with iron chains on their ankles, their wrists, their necks and sometimes around their waists. I turned my chains into gold..."

Does Mr. T still wear gold?
After 2005's Hurricane Katrina, Mr. T thought it would be an insult to wear the jewelry while others were so clearly suffering. According to a 2005 interview with USA Today, Mr. T said, "Because of the situation we're in now (after Katrina), I told myself, 'No, T, you can never wear your gold

    • Mitchell Guist of 'Swamp People' Dies

Mitchell Guist (right) of 'Swamp People' (History)Mitchell Guist, one of the happy-go-lucky stars of the hit reality TV show "Swamp People," has died.

Guist appeared on the show with his brother, Glenn. Their History Channel biography says: "Swampers through and through, Glenn and Mitchell Guist were born and raised on the bayou and live entirely off the land. These brothers are always up to something, whether it’s hunting for their dinner or making use of everything nature has to offer."

According to Sheriff Mike Waguespack, who spoke to WRBZ Louisiana, Guist was in his boat along the Belle River when he apparently fell. Witnesses say he appeared to have been suffering from a seizure.

"Swamp People" has been a hit for the History Channel. Currently in its third season, the show focuses on the lives of alligator hunters in rural Louisiana. The Guist brothers joined the cast in the second season.

    • Gary Coleman’s Estate Being Fought Over

Gary Coleman with ex-wife Shannon Price (WireImage)"Diff'rent Strokes" actor Gary Coleman died in 2010 at the age of 42. While it was commonly believed that Coleman died with little or no money, nearly two years later, two women are battling over his estate.

In a court in Provo, Utah, Coleman's ex-wife, Shannon Price, asked a judge for Coleman's estate. Several facts complicate her request. First, she and Coleman were divorced in 2008, though they continued to live together. And second, Coleman named a different woman, his ex-girlfriend Anna Gray, as the beneficiary of his estate in 2005.

So, if Coleman died nearly broke (he auctioned off a pair of his pants on eBay to help pay his medical bills), then why are the women fighting over his estate? According to ABC News, the fight isn't necessarily as much over Coleman's assets as it is over intellectual property, book rights, movie rights, and Coleman's likeness.

Gray's then-attorney spoke to ABC News several years ago and said, "It's not just his present assets anybody is fighting

    • The End of 'Khloe and Lamar'

Sitting down? Good. Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom's reality show is kaput.

The news comes from several industry sources, including Us Weekly and TMZ. Apparently, Khloe and Lamar are no longer interested in filming their show after two seasons on E!.

According to a source that spoke to TMZ, Odom wants to refocus on his hoops career. Indeed, his game could use some attention. The onetime Los Angeles Laker had a disastrous season after his trade to the Dallas Mavericks. Odom posted career-low numbers, averaging 6.6 points per game and just 4.2 rebounds. He is currently on the team's inactive list.

Odom is likely to be a free agent next year. Odom is owed $8.2 million for the upcoming 2012-13 season. It is doubtful the Mavericks want to pay that. A clause will allow the team to buy him out for $2.4 million.

An insider told Us Weekly: Khloe and Lamar "have decided he should train all off season... and she's exhausted from filming!"
