  • Water Skiing Baby!

    "This is real, you guys!"

That was the phrase anchor Lara Spencer had to keep repeating to her “GMA” pals on Monday, when this video surfaced of a little kid who's already learned how to water ski. How little, you ask? Try seven and a half months old! Yep, we said "months". Not "Years". Months! Most kids can't even crawl at seven and a half months. When I was that age, I think the most coordinated thing I knew how to do was get my head stuck in the staircase spindles.

    Water Skiing Baby

This wee water skier's name is Tyler, he's from Australia, and his mum and dad are apparently big thrill-seekers. But before you panic and call Sea Rescue, here's the other phrase Lara had to keep repeating, while her co-anchors picked their jaws up off the floor: "He is not behind a boat, you guys"!

Tyler's dad rigged up a baby water ski sled, attached a GoPro waterproof camera, and ran out in front, dragging his bundle of joy behind him through some very shallow water on the shore. And this kid sure looks to be enjoying

  • Music icon Cyndi Lauper went on “Access Hollywood Live” to talk about her latest endeavor of doing the music for the Broadway musical “Kinky Boots.” She also brought along the star of the production, Billy Porter, and another star of the show – the thigh-high sparkly red boots! The Harvey Fierstein musical opened to critical acclaim and has garnered 13 Tony Award nominations, including one each for Lauper and Porter. During the outdoor interview in New York, the boots kept blowing in host Billy Bush’s direction and he took it as a sign that the boots wanted to be worn by him. So he put one on and strutted around the set and very much enjoyed the moment saying, “This is fantastic!”

  • Yep, happy National Hug Your Cat Day, everyone! Well, at least that's what today is, according to Ellen DeGeneres. Or, to be more specific, that's what this crazy cat lady in Ellen's audience claimed today was. But is this holiday for real? And while we're asking questions, is hugging cats really such a good idea? Looks like this lady's hobby has been a little rough on her wardrobe:

"I wanna hug one so bad!"

OK, so National Hug Your Cat Day may not be a real thing. (Which is probably a good thing, for you and your cat.) But hey, there are stranger holidays! According to this list of "Bizarre and Unique Holidays," we have lots of things to celebrate in May! May is

    - National Bike Month,

    - National Barbecue Month,

    - National Hamburger Month,

    - and National Salad Month.

Which makes total sense. Every time I order some barbecue and a hamburger, I always feel like I should've just ridden a bike and had a salad!

And if that doesn't toot your horn, the first Friday in May is International Tuba Day.

  • Service Dog Salutes!

Anderson Cooper is involved with an organization called Puppies Behind Bars, where prison inmates raise service dogs that are then given to wounded war veterans and those suffering from PTSD. Anderson has been following one dog in particular since he was a puppy that was named after him. The dog was trained by an inmate for the last year or so and is about to graduate and be given to a veteran, so Anderson welcomed Anderson onto his show! Anderson the dog was very well behaved, and after covering Anderson the person with licks to the face, he showed off his coolest trick -- a soldier salute!

It appears that naming animals after talk show hosts is a hot new trend -- just ask Mary Lou King, a dairy farmer and nurse from Pennsylvania who recently named two new calves Ripa and Strahan! Read more about it here!

  • Alison Sweeney gets scaredAlison Sweeney became the latest victim of Ellen's favorite go-to prank: scaring the heck out of a celebrity, using a staffer in a silly costume.

The setup in this case was bugs, because Ellen got wind of a story about Ali being scared to go camping because of all the insects she might encounter.

So, an intern was summoned, a giant bug costume was ordered from wardrobe, and a gift of free camping gear, complete with a cute-yet-funny beekeeper hat, was offered to Alison as the pretext. Then Ellen got her going about her fear of bugs, and this prank practically played itself!

    Alison Sweeney Scaremageddon

The coveted double scream! Nice. Alison may have to take that weight-loss technique back to her bosses at "The Biggest Loser." Judging by that scream, she lost a few pounds of water weight from that scare!

But cheer up, Ali -- you now have the honor of joining a very distinguished hall of fame: celebs who've been subjected to Ellen's scare tactics. So what were some of the all-timers? Glad
