Whoopi's shoesWhoopi Goldberg is often called out by her fellow co-hosts on "The View" for her collection of wacky shoes, and on Monday she took us behind the scenes and into the huge shoe section of her dressing room!
Much to the delight of her colleagues and fans, she showed off a few highlights from her shelves upon shelves of colorful footwear. Her collection includes shoes that look like peeled bananas, shoes that have lights on them, and even shoes with a bunny as the heel.
While she has been a fan of crazy shoes since she started on the show, she admits to having given away shoes to friends and fans who have showed interest in particular pairs -- so what we saw wasn't even the complete collection! In terms of her selection process, she says, "I try to find comfortable and inexpensive. Sometimes I go a little nuts. [...] The most wonderful, strange, bizarre shoes I can find that are comfortable to walk in are the shoes you're going to find on my feet."
