She may have taken a backseat during the 2012 campaign season but the memory of Sarah Palin loomed large at the Emmy Awards with HBO's "Game Change" winning two major votes from the Academy electorate.
Pols entrenched in this year's presidential campaign couldn't resist weighing in. Senator John McCain's daughter and prolific tweeter Meghan McCain retweeted the observation that "Game Change" was "75% SNL sketches and news clips."
