COVERAGE OF THE 64th EMMY AWARDS

Mysteries of the 64th Primetime Emmys solved

(Getty Images)The 64th Primetime Emmy Awards moved along at a brisk pace, creating some memorable moments as well as raising a few questions along the way. What was it Tina Fey mouthed to the cameras? Who is Aaron Paul's stunner of a lady-friend? Did Tom Bergeron have ants in his pants? Read on for the answers.

What did Tina Fey mouth to the camera?

Well, we can't be sure but we think that the "30 Rock" star mouthed "I'm on the list" when the nominees were being announced. Either that, or she mouthed, "I'm not going to win." Both statements proved true -- Julia Louis-Dreyfus took home the Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series for her turn on HBO's "Veep."

Did Tom Bergeron break an unwritten rule by being clearly pleased with himself?

Nah, not really. But it was odd to see a winner so happy/relieved/excited to win. Bergeron, who won for Best Reality Host for his work on "Dancing with the Stars," jumped out of his seat like it was on fire. His excitement was justified -- Bergeron won for the first time in five nominations.

Who was Aaron Paul's date?

Aaron Paul, who won a second Best Supporting Actor in a Dramatic Role for his turn as Jesse Pinkman on "Breaking Bad," thanked his fianceé while accepting his award. The camera shot to the stunning young woman and we could tell that about a zillion fellas were going to want to know more. The 24-year-old Lauren Parsekian isn't in the acting game. She's an activist and the co-CEO of Finding Kind Productions.

Why was Tom Hanks there?

Hanks, sporting a swanky moustache, took the stage when "Game Change" won an Emmy for Outstanding Miniseries or TV Movie. Hanks wasn't in "Game Change." And he didn't direct "Game Change." But he did executive produce it. And when you executive produce something in Hollywood, that means you get to talk at award shows.

When can we see Michael J. Fox again?

The icon, who announced the winner of Outstanding Comedy Series, has a new show in the works. But fans are going to need patience. In a recent interview with Ellen DeGeneres, Fox remarked that the peacock network bought 22 episodes of his sitcom, which doesn't even have a name, let alone a premiere date.
