• On this week's "Happy Endings," Dave (Zachary Knighton) smiles for the camera as he tries to drum up more business for his food truck, Steak Me Home Tonight, by shooting a commercial. Of course his first attempt doesn't turn out the way he expected, and his second try -- even with directorial help from Max (Adam Pally) -- doesn't fare too well either. But we'll let you be the judge since we have both commercials right here.

"One was done by Dave himself, but Dave is terrible on camera and the results are horrible in a very specific way," says Knighton of the first commercial.

  • Tom had to step between the "DWTS" judges and mad Maks (ABC/Adam Taylor)Tom had to step between the "DWTS" judges and mad Maks (ABC/Adam Taylor)

(Wetpaint Entertainment) — It takes two to tango... and just as many to tussle. "Dancing With the Stars" is usually one big happy family, but, like all families, the judges, stars, and pro dancers occasionally butt heads. In the case of the "DWTS" clan, quarrels can be caused by jealousy, favoritism, teaching methods, hurt feelings and, of course, heel leads in a rumba!  Which means that every season, at least one in-house spat seems to end up being aired at the judges' table, in rehearsals or after the show.

Most recently, on Season 13's Broadway Week, pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy gave fans not one but two headline-making fights for the ages. Upset by judge Len Goodman's comment that he and partner Hope Solo's rumba was their worst dance so far, Maks dealt the ballroom veteran a low blow, saying that, after 50 years, maybe it was time Len got out of the business.

  • NBC's

(Television Without Pity) — Shows that debut around the same time with similar thematic elements aren't exactly a new thing -- just think of "30 Rock" and "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip"; "Ghost Whisperer" and "Medium"; "Lipstick Jungle" and "Cashmere Mafia"; or even this season's "Mad Men" wannabes, "Pan Am" and "The Playboy Club."

Now NBC's "Grimm" is premiering less than a week after ABC's "Once Upon a Time," and on the surface they have one major commonality: Both take classic fairy-tale characters and storylines and attempt to bring them into the present day. But the similarities primarily end there. Will viewers look past the promos and magazine blurbs to realize that the programs are absolutely nothing alike, or will they lump them together forever? And, more important, will either show last more than a season or two?

  • Pentatonix locked down the top spot this week (Lewis Jacobs/NBC)Pentatonix locked down the top spot this week (Lewis Jacobs/NBC)

(Hulu) — "The Sing-Off" was back for a sixth episode after last week's devastating double elimination, where two groups were sent home after hitting a sour note with the judges. Eight groups out of the original 16 were back this week for their hardest challenge yet: hip-hop track night, where contestants were tasked with re-interpreting popular hip-hop tunes by stripping them down to the bones -- no synthesizers, no instruments, just human voices. According to R&B royalty judge Shawn Stockman, this episode is the first time a show on primetime has ever devoted an entire night to hip-hop, making it momentous for contestants and viewers alike.

"The Sing-Off" had another "first" this week: The bottom two groups went head-to-head at the end of the night for the first ever "Sing-Off" battle, taking on Nelly's club classic "Just a Dream." Nashville's The Collective faced off with The Yellow Jackets from Rochester University, but the country crooners had to bow out of the competition out

  • When "Happy Endings" debuted earlier this year, viewers and critics alike brushed it off as yet another relationship sitcom that would quickly see its demise. But unlike NBC's "Perfect Couples," CBS's "Mad Love," Fox's "Traffic Light," and even ABC's "Better With You," the alphabet network actually picked up "Happy Endings" for a second season -- and deservedly so. On second look, you'll find that the comedy, about six friends approaching their thirties in Chicago, is actually really funny. The humor is original and the ensemble cast is quick-witted. If you're not already a fan, you should check out this comedic gem of a show. And what better way than to catch this week's Halloween episode before it airs? You can do that right here on Yahoo! TV.

On the episode (titled "Spooky Endings"), Jane and Brad experience first-hand what life in the suburbs is like when they spend Halloween night house-sitting for friends. Back in the city, the rest of the gang -- wearing some pretty unique duds

  • Yesterday, we asked you to decipher whether or not a scene from the Halloween-themed episode of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" was fact or fiction. To jog your memory, here's what went down: Rollins (Kelli Giddish) and Fin (Ice-T) are spending their Halloween doing some trick-or-treating of their own, but instead of looking for candy, the detectives are searching for perps. When they approach a decorated door and are greeted by a dressed-up sex offender, the detectives arrest him.

So was that fact or fiction?

  • Is this "SVU" scene fact or fiction? (NBC)Is this "SVU" scene fact or fiction? (NBC)

For the sake of entertainment, television shows -- even the reality ones -- often take artistic liberties to tell their stories. Sometimes the plotlines exaggerate reality and sometimes they mimic reality, so viewers are left asking, "Was that true? Can that happen in real life?" Now's your chance to play TV detective and uncover the truth once and for all!

Our very first TV Fact or Fiction question comes from this week's Halloween-themed episode of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," titled "Missing Pieces." The episode finds the SVU detectives racing to find a missing (possibly kidnapped) baby on Halloween night. While Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Amaro (Danny Pino) are busy questioning the infant's distraught parents, Fin (Ice-T) and Rollins (Kelli Giddish) hit the pavement searching for clues.

As part of their investigation, Fin and Rollins go door-to-door looking for sex offenders who may be breaking their parole
