3 Girls and a Snake Grace the 'American Horror Story: Coven' Poster

We suggest you lock the doors, get under the covers, and cue up some light and fluffy "Friends" repeats on the DVR, because a mere glance at the poster for "American Horror Story: Coven" might be enough to give you the heebie-jeebies.

Somehow, the art for Season 3 is even creepier than the promo was, with all those girls stuck to the walls. After all, there's a general consensus that snakes are scary. Snakes creeping in and out of people's mouths ... that's taking things to a whole new level.

We know that powerhouse performers Kathy Bates and Angela Bassett are joining "AHS" for the third season. Bates will play real-life Louisiana serial killer Delphine LaLaurie, and Bassett will portray a voodoo priestess from New Orleans. And at the Televisison Critics Association press tour this summer, producers told us to expect "a very strong feminist theme ... a very strong theme of family, specifically mothers and daughters."

And snakes. Yikes.
