With MTV's "Awkward" returning for the second half of Season 3 on Oct. 22, we asked the cast members which hashtags they'd like to see trending that that night. Here's what they shared and the spoilers they revealed along the way. #YoureWelcome.
The last time we saw her, Jenna Hamilton (Ashley Rickards) had just cheated on her loyal boyfriend, Matty McKibben (Beau Mirchoff), with Collin Jennings (Nolan Funk). A sneak peek at the premiere of 3B reveals Jenna gets busted kissing Collin. At her surprise birthday party. In front of Matty and all their P.H. pals. Ruh-roh. So is it a moment Jetty (Jenna and Matty) can overcome? The odds don't look good. "I don't know if a guy can ever bounce back from such a deceitful act," says Mirchoff. "He'll try, but I think at the end of the day that'll always be the skeleton in the closet." Viewers will get a chance to decide which side they're on in the second episode when the birthday drama gets retold from multiple POVs. "There's a story for each character who was at the birthday party — Jake, Ming, Lissa, Molly," says Greer Grammer (who plays Lissa).
Poor Matty. First he had to go up against his best friend, Jake Rosati (Brett Davern). This time, shippers are going to have to choose between Team Matty and Team Collin. Jillian Rose Reed (who plays Tamara) is clearly bunking at Camp McKibben, and there might be something to that. "There is a darker side to Collin that is yet to be revealed," hinted Nikki DeLoach (who plays Lacey Hamilton). We're trying to overlook the fact that Nolan wasn't even available for interviews with the rest of the "Awkward" cast the day Yahoo TV spoke with his co-stars. (Davern was also missing, but that was due to a delayed flight and not an attempt to keep a lid on spoilers. Right, MTV?)
Things do get better. Unless you're Lissa, and then nothing gets better. Ever. "She gets it taken off eventually, but nothing goes right for Lissa this season so it completely makes sense that her neck brace would come back on after she gets it off," explains Grammer.
"Jenna goes down a darker path — she breaks bad," jokes Desi Lydic (who plays Valerie Marks). And everyone has a different way of reacting to the new (and not necessarily improved) Jenna. Val's solution is to play puppet master in a very special Palos Hills High School production. "She casts all of the students to be in the afterschool special. ... It tells the true story of what's happening but in this theatrical, spoofy kind of way," says Lydic.
"I'm currently tweeting recipes to government smoothies, they're called #ShutdownSmoothie. So today I had a #RagingRepublicanRaspberry and it was delicious and tomorrow I think I'm going to have #CongressKiwi," says Rickards. The actress claims to be the most active cast member on Twitter, but she's facing some tough competition on Facebook from an unlikely source — Mirchoff's mom. "My mother posts all this stuff going on in my life on Facebook," he reveals. "Not spoilers but a lot of articles and pictures." One friend request coming up!

Whaaaaa? OK, an "Awkward" birth announcement might be a little premature. DeLoach is actually the one who just had a real-life baby (like, today!). But Jenna's onscreen mom reveals that introducing a little brother or sister into the Hamilton household isn't completely out of the question. "We had dinner with our show runners and writers recently for Season 4, and we talked a lot about what would it be like if Lacey got pregnant again," spills DeLoach. "Kevin and Lacey make it no secret they're always working in the bedroom on something."
We'll let Palos Hills' resident mean girl have the last word. Especially since Molly Tarlov shared the best news — 3B's final episode will take place at prom. "The finale is what I'm excited about, it is so cute!" Tarlov's excitement might have something to do with Sadie Saxton about to finally get some with the return of former crush Austin (Shane Harper). And he's not the only guest star making a comeback this season — Sadie's mom and Jenna's Aunt Ally are also back in the picture. So are the Benjamins. The Saxton family fortune might be gone, but we can expect to see Sadie use her smarts to become a self-made woman and go from "broke bitch" to boss.
