A new billionaire is swimming with the sharks this week on "Shark Tank."
John Paul DeJoria, co-founder of Paul Mitchell hair products and tequila distiller Patrón Spirits, is guesting alongside sharks Mark Cuban and Lori Greiner — both former guests themselves — as well as Daymond John and Kevin O'Leary.
But DeJoria is on the attack.
Like tech guru Robert Herjavec — whose seat he is filling this week — DeJoria boasts a rags-to-riches story. Once homeless, he borrowed money to bankroll his first business, launching the Paul Mitchell Systems hair-care empire with just 700 bucks.
Now the tycoon and philanthropist is hearing pitches from other entrepreneurs. As you can see in this exclusive preview of Friday's show, DeJoria is the first investor to make an offer to the founders of Better Life, a line of all-natural cleaning products.
Will they bite? Tune in to "Shark Tank," Friday at 9 p.m. on ABC to find out!
