More rambling from "Primetime in No Time" host Frank Nicotero:
"American Idol": Yes, everybody will have fun talking about Magic Cyclops today, but it's still not the "Pants On the Ground" moment I'm hoping for in the auditions. I know they take time away from actual talent but it's fun. By the way, he stole the whole "can you play the theme to the Incredible Hulk" bit from Stewie on "Family Guy." I got your back, Stewie!
"Touch": Doesn't this 11-year-old kid make you feel kind of like an idiot? And he doesn't even speak! Well, except in voice overs. In the first couple of minutes of the show he calculated how many people live on Earth, how many days he's been alive, and a bunch of mathematical probability that most likely you wouldn't understand. I know I didn't. That's some fast math! I have a hard enough time calculating 20-percent for the tip when I'm out to dinner! Whoops...did I say 20-percent? I meant 30-percent!
"Hell Roads": The roads showcased on this episode were unbelievable! I grew up in Pittsburgh, and it was hard enough driving in icy or snowy conditions in my residential neighborhood. I can't imagine braving those conditions on a steep narrow cliff. And I'll be honest; since I moved to Los Angeles driving hasn't been easy for me in general. I get pulled over constantly on the 405, and I don't even understand why the police waste their time. I drive at least 30-miles per hour.
