More rambling from "Primetime in No Time" host Frank Nicotero:
"Dancing with the Stars": Mad Maks!!! I want you to know that it took every muscle in my body to keep from doing a "Thunder Dome" reference or say "Two man enter, one man leave". But I just couldn't since out of the past 918 shows, I think we've used that 'Mad Max' reference 416 times. Sure, go with what you know, but sometimes you have to stretch your wings... And speaking of stretching their wings, Rikki Lake was bringing it! After JR, she's my favorite (which was the same when she was a talk show host- Sally Jesse Raphael was #1, Rikki #2).
"The Sing-Off": If I closed my eyes for a second and listened to the 'Sing-Off' groups sing, it was like I could hear original hip-hop artists performing. If I closed my eyes for a few more minutes I was transported to a musical world of Puffy and Flo Rida. It was a magical show... probably because I slept through it.
"Real Housewives of Beverly Hills": Watching Lisa and Adrienne try to prepare a chicken was like watching two little kids try to perform brain surgery, and it was awesome! I don't know who I felt more badly for: the chickens getting improperly manhandled, or Adrienne's personal chef who just stood by watching in horror. At least he knows his job is safe!
