Was Mariah live, or was she Memorex? [photo: Fox]Mariah Carey is known as one of the greatest singers of all time. She was hired this year, for a whopping $18 million, to judge other singers on "American Idol." So when she gave a performance on Thursday night's "Idol" finale that seemed more appropriate for another talent show, "RuPaul's Drag Race" — that is, she appeared to be lip-synching for her life — well, it was not a tour de force, dahling.Read More »from Did Mariah Carey Lip-Synch on the ‘American Idol’ Finale?

Candice wins! [photo: Matt Sayles/Invision/AP]The third time was the charm for Candice Glover on "American Idol." Keith says he'll miss Randy most of all [photo: Jeffrey Mayer/WireImage]Backstage at night one of this season's "American Idol" finale, judge Keith Urban spoke to the press, and he was asked to recall his most moving moment of Season 12. Was it Kree Harrison's homecoming? Lazaro Arbos's audition? Angie Miller's Boston tribute?
"Hearing that Randy [Jackson] was leaving," Keith answered. When reporters chuckled, Keith added, "It's true!"Read More »from Keith Urban Reveals His Surprising “Most Moving Moment” of ‘Idol’ Season 12
