"X Factor" fan favorite Jillian Jensen's fate still hung in the balance Wednesday night, when Fox was forced to preempt the series' all-important top 16 reveal midway through the episode, right before Jillian was about to receive her news from her mentor, Demi Lovato. (If you're into spoilers, click here to find out, via Canada's not-preempted CTV broadcast, if Jillian actually made it through to the live shows.) But for all you Jillianators who are disappointed that you didn't get to see more of Jillian on television this week, Reality Rocks has the exclusive premiere of her new music video with Boston duo the Fontaine Brothers, "Maybe."

Simon must not be happy right now...Somewhere over at Fox HQ, Simon Cowell is probably punching a wall, ordering that several Fox employees be fired, and/or going into cardiac arrest. Because on Wednesday night, a rained-out baseball game delayed, then suddenly interrupted, and then totally preempted, the most important episode of this "X Factor" season so far. This was not the first time that baseball had ruined Simon's plans--last year, an "X Factor" episode was postponed due to a game--but that was just a Judges' Houses episode. This time, it was the all-important reveal of the top 16 contestants (the ones who will compete on the live shows), and it was the series' cliffhanger episode before the show goes on hiatus until November 1 for the World Series. (Wow, Simon must REALLY hate baseball by now.) And the interruption came at the worst moment possible. The Voice, The Day After: Battle Rounds Dish, Pt. 4
By Lyndsey Parker | Reality Rocks – Wed, Oct 17, 2012 2:47 PM PDTLast night, the fourth episode of this season's "Voice" Battle Rounds aired, but only three of the hour-long episode's six battles were shown in their entirety. This was frustrating for diehard "Voice" viewers like myself and my "The Day After" co-host, Matt Whitfield, since we enjoy watching all of the battles. But it was undoubtedly even more frustrating for the three winners of these edited battles, who now move on to the next round at a severe disadvantage due to their lack of screentime, and especially for the three losers, whose 15 minutes of fame literally got whittled down to about 15 seconds.
But today, after a short venting session about these perplexing editing decisions, Matt and I do get down to discussing the three Tuesday night battles that America did get to see in full. And at the end of today's "Day After," we even get into a battle of our own, all about the polarizing-yet-adorable MacKenzie Bourg. And none of our battle is edited out! Enjoy!

By Lyndsey Parker | Reality Rocks – Tue, Oct 16, 2012 6:19 PM PDTThe Battle Rounds continued on "The Voice" this Tuesday, and with the coaches continuing to make mostly reasonable decisions, there was little to debate or get too riled up about during the hour-long episode. The one gripe of the night? NBC's continuing lame decision to not show all of the battles in their entirety. So if you were a fan of Ben Taub, Adanna Duru, or (this is less likely) Beat Frequency...then sorry, you won't get to find out exactly what happened to those contestants this week.
But here's what else happened!

photo: WireImageOkay, "X Factor" fans, I have good news and bad news. Which would you like first? Oh, heck, let's just rip off the Band-Aid and get down to it: The bad news is, Khloe Kardashian--yes, THE Khloe Kardashian--has officially signed on to co-host "The X Factor," when the show goes live on November 1.
