The judges react to this week's resultsAngie Miller had never been in the bottom two or three this season of "American Idol," and she had been hyped as the girl to beat ever since Hollywood Week, when she wowed the judges with her original song, "You Set Me Free." Although she never gave a performance quite as amazing as that again, Angie still seemed like a shoo-in for next week's finale, and she always seemed superhumanly confident...until this Thursday, when, much to the shock of the judges, she unexpectedly went home in third place. To put all of the speculation to the rest, after 12 years of judging on 'American Idol' I have decided it is time to leave after this season," Randy announced in his characteristically colorful manner. "I am very proud of how we forever changed television and the music industry. It's been a life-changing opportunity, but I am looking forward to focusing on my company Dream Merchant 21 and other business ventures."
