Season 2's Dez Duron returnsEveryone knows that the "The Voice" is all about second (or third, or fourth, or 17th) chances. In fact, now that we're well into Season 3, it's literally easy to lose count of how many "Voice" contestants have had previous major-label record deals, or have even competed on rival talent shows. And this Monday's Blind Auditions episode was no different. Among the singers who tried out were a former Disney teen starlet, a runner-up from Rolling Stone's "Choose The Cover" contest...and even a memorable castoff from "The Voice" Season 2.Read More »from ‘The Voice’ Blind Auditions, Episode 6: The Ones That Got Away

Last night, "The X Factor" headed South, to the land of grits and Brit(ney). And while only three auditioners made it through, there is still much for me and my "The Day After" co-host Matt Whitfield to discuss today, as it was a real quality-over-quantity situation. photo: Fox"The X Factor" headed to Britney Spears's homeland, the beautiful South, on Thursday night. photo: Michael Becker/FoxSteven Tyler kept the Fox censors working overtime during his profanity-laden "American Idol" tenure, but now that he is--quite happily, it would seem--off the show, he's really letting it rip. New "Idol" judge Nicki Minaj ain't got nothin' on Steven Tyler the Toxic Twin.
Speaking to Yahoo! Music during a press junket for Aerosmith's forthcoming comeback album, Music From Another Dimension, Steven minced NO words when discussing his decision to leave "Idol" after two seasons and never look back--although he implied that if he hadn't quit, he probably would have been pink-slipped anyway.Read More »from Steven Tyler On Why He Joined — And Quit — ‘American Idol’
