First runner-up Rebecca Ferguson is the latest rising star to emerge from Season 7 of "The X Factor U.K.," the same stellar season that spawned brooding electro singer Aiden Grimshaw and pond-crossing breakout pop stars Cher Lloyd and One Direction. The Britsoul sensation's critically heralded debut album, Heaven, recently came out in the U.S., and this week--with all of the world's eyes riveted on her native England as the London Olympics kick off--Rebecca delivered a winning performance at the P&G Family Home, a home-away-from-home haven established for athletes and their families during the Games as part of its "Thank You Mom" campaign.

Blige (who was once rumored to be in the running for "Idol") will help Adam Levine, Michael Buble will be Blake Shelton's right-hand man...and now it has just been announced that Christina Aguilera will join forces with none other than Billie Joe Armstrong. "SYTYCD" is really suffering due to this new format, and specifically, it's the contestants who are suffering most of all.
