The Emmy Awards will be distributed this Sunday (block off a good 5-11 hours to make sure you catch the whole telecast), and among the nominees are both Will Arnett (for his guest role as Devon Banks on "30 Rock") and his wife, "Parks and Recreation" star Amy Poehler. But Arnett hasn't let his and Poehler's success and acclaim go to his head: He acknowledged last night on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" that his is a household packed with "Emmy losers." He also told a tale of vehicular mishap on the way to a previous Emmy ceremony. (Not as dramatic as the hitchhiking story Paul Rudd told a few weeks ago on "The Late Show," but still pretty good.)

By linds | The Set – Tue, Sep 13, 2011 2:32 PM PDTOh, commercials, if we might address you directly: sometimes you're so weird. So sometimes we collect you in a feature we call What the Sell?! Here are three!
Jennifer Lopez dances enthusiastically in a new ad for Fiat, even if it does look like she was pulled quite unwillingly from the sunroof before her dance number. (Quite unwillingly! Like three-year-old-who-doesn't-want-to-leave-the-bath unwillingly):

She's fun. (Masterpiece)Having a hard time filling your days and weekends (except what's a weekend, right guys?) as you wait impatiently for the second season of "Downton Abbey" to make it to PBS's "Masterpiece"? This should eat up two or three minutes. Via Doree Shafrir's Twitter feed comes this quiz in the Guardian, by which means you can determine which "DA" character you most closely resemble. I'd like to think I'm the brave and beautifully aging Countess Cora (Elizabeth McGovern), but I'm pretty sure I'm actually the crotchety old bag at right. By linds | The Set – Tue, Sep 13, 2011 12:16 PM PDTWhen non-Bieber celebrities appear on shows aimed at children, it presents so many questions for outsiders. Like: why? Isn't it a huge waste of precious time for our culture's already overscheduled celebrities to spend a day taping something (surely for little to no money) when any other non-famous human being would do exactly as well in the role?
I have a theory, and it goes like this: the Celebrity Kid Show Cameo System is like a version of the U.S.O. for the proud men and women who are out there on the front lines every day doing one of the toughest jobs in the world: caring for young children full-time. (This is a serious theory.) So I hope the moms, dads, grandparents, and nannies out there like alternative comedians, because Fred Armisen and Charlyne Yi are going to be on "Yo Gabba Gabba," and here's a preview (via Vulture):

By Tara Ariano | The Set – Tue, Sep 13, 2011 10:56 AM PDTAs Whitney Jefferson of Jezebel notes, it's no surprise that, in this clip that opens the first-ever All-Star season of "America's Next Top Model" (premiering tomorrow night on The CW), the star of Tyra Banks's dreams is Tyra Banks herself. What is a surprise is that after doing an entire season featuring petite models, she somehow thinks the word is pronounced "PEE-teet."
