I'm sure you have lots of things to buy on your computer today, but it would be a crime not to share the Most Important Thing that Happened on the Subject of the Art Form That is Television over the long weekend: No, it wasn't the (timely!) spoof of "Mad Men" on "The Simpsons," or the strange, seemingly Vitamin Water-sponsored episode of "Homeland," or the fall finale of "The Walking Dead," or whatever is is that happened on "Boardwalk Empire" that's making Twitter go insane.
Nope, it was the airing, after last night's "Sister Wives," of this promo for next Sunday's TLC special "Virgin Diaries," about virgins who get married, which has been put up on YouTube and properly labeled "Probably the funniest promo I have ever seen." Probably? No, definitely! Apologies for the sound on this one, but sound is not needed. I'm not going to ruin the amazing sense of discovery you will feel when you watch it, but YOU WILL SEE why it's the funniest promo ever very quickly. Oh, somebody help this poor, poor lady!
