    Watch ‘The Office’ Credits, ‘Dallas’-Style

Somebody took the time, and what appears to be a lot of time, re-doing the opening credits sequence to the American version of "The Office" as they might have been done in the '80s, specifically as they might have been done if the show was called "Scranton" instead of "Dallas" and had the "Dallas" theme and opening credits.

Predictably, this person's hard work was rewarded in YouTube comments by a totally 2011-relevant and productive discussion as to whether the American version of "The Office" stinks compared to the British version, but let's just enjoy what has been done for our entertainment here:

THANK YOU! Life used to stop on Thursday nights for this show,. Now, the episodes rot on my DVR until I inevitably erase them, or another show, which doesn't have stagnant characters, uses the space.

There are TONNES of tv re-edits on youtube. This is a well done one, the VHS effect works, but it's no where near the best or funniest I've seen. How is this newsworthy or blogworthy, EVEN for Yahoo!?

In the words of Kevin Malone, "And that, is Dallas!"
