'Boardwalk Empire' Season 4 Trailer: New People, But It's Still Nucky's World [Video]

TV drama fans, use those vacation days now, because when September rolls around, all you're going to want to do is park yourself in front of the tube. The final episodes of "Breaking Bad" and "Dexter," the return of "Sons of Anarchy," and Season 4 of "Boardwalk Empire," teased in the trailer above, will be but a few reasons channel surfers will not want to venture far from the couch.

The "Boardwalk Empire" clip introduces viewers to two of the season's major new characters: "Office Space" and "Sex and the City" alum Ron Livingston as Roy Phillips, a wealthy Atlantic City newcomer who immediately cozies up to Gillian (Gretchen Mol), and A.C. ringleader Nucky Thompson's (Steve Buscemi) most formidable new foe in Season 4, Jeffrey Wright's ("Casino Royale" and "Basquiat") Valentin Narcisse.

Narcisse is a Harlem crime lord, who cryptically tells Nucky, "Only kings understand each other. What shall we do, Mr. Thompson? What shall we do?"

But lest Narcisse underestimates Nucky's commitment to keeping what is his under his control, he should think carefully about how Nucky sums up last season's events in the beginning of the clip: "I didn't ask for trouble."

"What was brought to my doorstep, I returned," Nucky says.

"Medium" star Patricia Arquette will also join the cast for the new season, playing Tampa bar owner Sally Wheet, who is connected to some of Atlantic City's finest gangsters.

"Boardwalk Empire" Season 4 premieres on HBO on September 8.
