A Very Brady Reunion! The 'Bunch' Back Together for Florence Henderson's 80th

Here's a story of a lovely lady who's turning 80.

That's right, "Brady Bunch" mom Florence Henderson is turning the big 8-0 on Valentine's Day, and her 1970s sitcom family is joining her on CBS's "The Talk" to celebrate. Original cast members Barry Williams (Greg), Christopher Knight (Peter), Mike Lookinland (Bobby), and Susan Olsen (Cindy) appeared on the daytime chat fest with their TV mom, while Eve Plumb (Jan) and Ann B. Davis (Alice) offered taped birthday greetings.

As for Marcia, Marcia, Marcia, Maureen McCormick declined to participate in the reunion, but Williams assured viewers that the cast members are still all friends. The Brady bro explained, "It's just difficult to schedule everybody at the same time." Indeed, it wouldn't be a Brady reunion if someone wasn't missing.

The Brady bash kicked off with a retro opening title sequence (yes, that was Sheryl Underwood dressed as "the youngest one in curls"), before "The Talk" hosts asked Henderson how her sitcom alter ego Carol Brady would feel about turning 80. The TV legend didn't miss a beat saying, "She'd probably feel the same way I do," Henderson said. "A little nervous, a little excited… I think she would be out there like I am, dating younger men." Speaking of younger men, Williams dished that he had a major crush on his TV mom back in the day. "The first time I saw Florence, I was like, 'Wow!'" the actor revealed. "I was 14 years old and I'm thinking 'Oh, mama!'… We all know she is hot!"

Mama Brady didn't dole out any beauty secrets — she attributed "good genes" for her still-youthful look — but she did talk about the late Robert Reed's secret life. The actor, who played Mike Brady on the show, hid the fact that he was gay during the run of the series. Henderson revealed, "I think he suffered tremendously. Here he was, the father of the world. If that had come out at that time..."

Henderson praised Reed's acting ability and said all of the kids on the show knew his secret. "Nobody really cared," she added.

Another segment of the show had the Brady brothers recreating the iconic TV moment when Marcia got pummeled in the nose with a football (according to Knight, a prop man did the honors in the original episode), while Chef Jason Santos whipped up that famous Brady dish, pork chops and applesauce, in a salute to the episode where Peter Brady impersonated Humphrey Bogart by saying, "Pork chops and applesauce... isn't that swell!"

At the end of the hour, a huge cake was wheeled out, and Williams presented the birthday girl with a bouquet of roses from the cast. But he had one more present for his TV mom: A passionate kiss on the lips!

"Something I've been waiting 40 years to do," he said.
