The sudden appearance of the dome certainly isn't the only mystery in Chester's Mill! Amid all the scheming, backstabbing, and general bad decision making on "Under the Dome," a fan-favorite character has emerged: Deputy Linda Martinez (Natalie Martinez). One of the few genuinely good characters on the show, Linda is always trying to do what's right in a town where so many other people are up to no good.
In this exclusive clip from tonight's episode, "The Fourth Hand," Deputy Linda breaks into an office in order to watch some security-camera footage.
Linda watches the tape and sees people loading massive quantities of propane into a warehouse. Later in the footage, Sheriff Duke Perkins (Jeff Fahey) drives up in his patrol car. He accepts a thick manila envelope from a woman in an expensive-looking outfit.
"What the hell were you up to?" Linda asks Duke's image on the tape.
Fans will remember that Duke died very early in the series, when his pacemaker exploded out of his chest. Lesson learned: The dome doesn't play nicely with anything electrical.

Shortly after Duke's death, Rev. Lester Coggins (Ned Bellamy) was dispatched to Duke's home to remove any evidence of his involvement in the propane stockpiling. Duke, the Reverend, and Big Jim Rennie (Dean Norris) were all in on the shady propane plot. Big Jim eventually kills the Rev. to keep him quiet.
If Linda starts sniffing around Duke's affairs, she may come into conflict with Big Jim — and, as history has revealed, that likely won't end well for Linda. Fans will have to watch tonight's episode to learn Linda's fate!
"The Fourth Hand" airs Monday, 8/19 at 10 PM on CBS.
