‘Two and a Half Men’ Season Premiere Details Leak

The "Two and a Half Men" cast takes a bowThe "Two and a Half Men" cast takes a bow (Adam Rose/CBS)With Charlie Sheen's exit from "Two and a Half Men" still reigning as the year's biggest entertainment story, it should be no surprise that details are already leaking from last night's season premiere taping — the first episode featuring Ashton Kutcher.

Even though both audience members and even the cast members themselves had to sign nondisclosure agreements, according to Deadline, multiple outlets are reporting details ranging from plot points to guest stars, and CBS even released a photo of the cast's post-taping bow.

So if you just can't wait until "Two and a Half Men" returns to CBS on September 19, here's the lowdown on what's leaked so far:

    Charlie Harper Is Dead

As was widely rumored prior to last night's taping, a funeral is indeed held for Sheen's character in the season premiere, TMZ reports. Considering "Men" creator Chuck Lorre's skirmishes with Sheen, is it any wonder that he'd make sure there's no way the troubled actor would ever set foot on the show again?

    His Wife Probably Killed Him

According to dialogue during the funeral scene, Charlie's exit from this world was a gruesome one. It's reportedly revealed that he had married Rose, the woman he flew off to Paris with last season, and that while they were in Paris, he "slipped" onto the subway tracks as an oncoming train approached. According to TMZ, the way the scene plays out implies that Rose was behind the "accident."

    The House Is Changing Hands

As was revealed last week, new series star Kutcher will play an Internet billionaire named Walden Schmidt, and Deadline reports that a chunk of Schmidt's money will be spent purchasing Charlie's house. But first a procession of potential buyers will look at the place, with insiders telling Deadline that guest-star lookie-loos could include cast members from other Lorre shows, such as "The Big Bang Theory."

    John Stamos Did Get Cast!

Back in the show's "One and a Half Men" days, former "Full House" star and "Glee" super-guest John Stamos was rumored as a possible replacement for Sheen, and although Kutcher nabbed that role, Stamos will still get some screen time. TMZ reports that Stamos will speak at Charlie's funeral ... and reveal the raunchy incident he once shared with the deceased (and another person). Jenny McCarthy was also reportedly involved in the funeral scene.

    Fans Will Probably Like It

Deadline got in touch with people who attended Friday's taping, and others who read the script, and heard praise that suggested the writing is as sharp as ever. One source credited Kutcher with breathing new life into show, while others called him "charming" and "solid."

Still, even though CBS and "Men" fans are probably pretty happy with these early reports, there's one man who's not — and that's Sheen himself. When asked about the show's funeral plans, the actor told TMZ: "I will be watching my fake funeral, attended by my fake ex-girlfriends, from my very, very real movie theater, with my very real hotties in tow."

Guess there are discrepancies as to who gets the house. Charlie had left his house to Berta during one episode where Charlie dreamed he died and Alan got everything. Remember Charlie's dream funeral episode where his friend (played by his brother Emilio Estevez) died?

Now what happens to Allen and Jake, when Ashton's character purchases the house? Are we gonna have to wait for a couple of seasons before the house closes on the market?
not sure its gonna make it the whole season, probably the show will get cancelled in the middle, so we don't have to torture ourselves watching this major mistake.

If Ashton's character was a Billionaire, why would it take a "chunk" of his money to buy the house? Chunk implies 10-20% and I don't care how crazy beach front propery is in California, it would not go for $100-$200 milion. Hope this isn't the beginning of the end of this show with weak story lines. Although, I do think it does more than push the envelope for what is appropriate for prime-time t.v. As an adult, I love it, but I cringe everytime my 14 & 15 year olds watch it. Some of us are still trying to be good parents.

I'm an adult and I frequently cringe when I watch it by myself. The "blue" humor frequently goes way over the top. And it isn't necessary - there is plenty of non-risque humor to demonstrate that the writers are creative enough to be funny without being so crude.

The show will not be Two & a Half Men any more. I'm sure it will be funny . . .. but that show is new & not the same.

The reason Alan doesn't get Charlies house is because he wouldn't be to afford it like Charlie said in one of the episodes.

Bla, Bla, Bla, No Charlie, No Me. Chuck Lorre needs to be very careful about killing Charlie off, when this show fails, and no doubt it will, let's see who's begging who. I also noticed how happy Charlies cast members look, I sure wouldn't want them having my back. Hey Charlie, remember this, because you'll be here long after them.

I'm a big C. Sheen fan and not a fan of Kucher or his crappy acting, so I'm not looking forward to the new season!! The new story line...a dot.com millionaire...real creative, Lorre!! That's so 1990s!!! Jeeeez!!!!

I think Sheen's hype is still bringing all the interest to the show ...even after he's gone...and once the new season starts, I BET the ratings and viewership falls like a Led Zeppelin!!!

I'll keep watching all the great reruns instead!

Does Charlie still get paid on all the reruns cause they are ALL over the TV?

That'd be cool if he did!!

Show will last 4 more episodes and then get canned....The best interactions on the show were between Charlie and Bertha...1/2 that is gone and no one else on the cast can bring it....Kutcher...lame.....show is done...might as well have the funeral for it as well

The show went to crap since they took Sheen off...I know it sounds like a stupid comment but, the way they introduced Kutcher into it, and Charlie Sheen dying..? With Rose behind it? With how often she snuck into his house she could've taken him out tons of times, hard to believe she'd do it there and then in Paris.

i want watch it anymore maybe i am one person but it seems stupid to replace charle sheen with the other dude who is not funny at all hope theirs more people feel like i do
      • Audranna 9 months ago
I agree I am not going to watch it nomore because now that he is gone it is not going to be worth shit anymore. Charlie sheen it what made that show.I think that should just take it completeing of the hire. Because the show aint nothing without charlie sheen.
      • Audranna 9 months ago
A moms boy like ashton kuchter is not going to make the show worth watching. Two and ahalf men dont need moms boys it needs charlie sheen back.

I will NOT watch, now that Kutcher is on there. He has no talent. He is more immature then the character Jake. At least Jake is acting. Kutcher is immature in REAL-LIFE. The show will not last with Mr. Demi Moore
