Bethany breaks up with Denny so her mother Bella makes a move on him. Coho pursues Shirley. Denny defends Lincoln Meyer when he is accused of killing the judge of his last trial. But Lincoln starts acting very strange, and Denny begins to lose interest. Alan helps Jerry Espenson with a client who is a suspect in a murder trial and is susceptible to blackouts.
