Brooke White

Brooke White, who currently lives in Van Nuys, CA, was born June 2, 1983 and grew up in Mesa, AZ. Before auditioning for "American Idol" (Fox, 2002- ), White was a nanny. She has performed as a solo artist with a backup band. White began singing at age 15 and also plays the piano and guitar, with her vocal skills and piano playing impressing all three judges, particularly with her cover of Carly Simon's 1970s hit, "He's So Vain."
