The McCallister campaign is flailing, and when Isaac"s big idea for an unscripted town hall meeting full of veterans only works a little bit, he presses Robert once again to go for the kill with regard to Governor Adamson and his developmentally disabled kid. Kitty"s all for it, but despite Isaac"s revelation that he has a special needs child of his own, Robert"s not convinced.
Ken Olin is still hanging around, this time buttering Rebecca up with tales of Holly"s B-movie past. Holly"s not at all happy about this, but she indulges them both. Rebecca"s sharp enough to ask Holly whether Ken"s her real father, but Holly denies it. For now.
Kevin"s been getting emails from Jason, and it sounds like the good reverend"s on his way home to fight for his man. And if you guessed that this makes Kevin act as squirrelly as he ever has, especially around Scotty, you"d be right.
Meanwhile, Nora plans a big family dinner as an excuse to go on a semi-date with Isaac, and she commissions Sarah to round up the troops. Sarah, in turn, gets Kevin to convince Tommy and Justin to pretend they"re not currently feuding over the whole Lena thing (Justin"s back to sleeping with her, unfortunately) long enough to fake a happy dinner. At said dinner, Kitty manages to lay out the Adamson thing in a way that sounds an awful lot like the Tommy/Lena thing, which sets the whole family off on a chain of veiled innuendo and secret spilling until everybody finally finds out. Also getting revealed: the fact that Robert doesn"t want to have a baby. (Kevin: "Little late for that kind of information.") Oh, and Julia slept with someone else too, which I guess puts them on an even enough playing field that they decide to work things out.
Finally, Adamson goes on national TV and withdraws from the race. Kitty says their campaign had nothing to do with it, though odds are Isaac is involved somehow, but the upshot is that Robert"s road to the Republican nomination has just been paved.
