Buffy Was the Best
December 27, 2006
I didn't start watching Buffy until the reruns of the first season. It caught my eye because Angel was so cute. But I had written it off as a teeny bopper tv show and I was in my late 40's. Wow! I was hooked. This was one of the most well written shows on tv. Even though I was well past teen age
angst, I felt that the message and humor kept me hooked.
Buffy killed but never used a gun. It was good versus evil. It was okay to be different. Don't judge people by their looks. Don't give into peer pressure. I felt like every teenager especially girls should be required to watch this show.
Although I, Iike everyone else, always wanted Buffy to get with Angel I understood her fling with Spike (seaons 7). Some of those episodes were the hottest things I've seen on broadcast TV.
Buffy the Musical was so entertaining and clever. It irked me that this show was so ignored by the Emmy's. The only thing that I've found to fill the Buffy gap is Veronica Mars. If you loved Buffy you will enjoy this show.
I'm 58 now and I still am buying the dvd's of each season of Buffy. For those that never had the pleasure of watching it when it was broadcast buy the dvd's. You won't be sorry.

I sure miss Buffy!!

Buffy was a really great show. It wasn't hoaky, as many thought it would be, being based off of a hoaky movie. It was always interesting and funny. First we lost Buffy, then Angel, and finally Charmed. How are we supposed to get our demon slaying fix now?

Buffy, the ultimate of shows
August 18, 2008
Never had I before got so drawn in to a show as I did with Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Each season provided something new and exciting. Even the lesser episodes showcased better stories and writing than almost anything else on TV. Here are my favorite episoes in each season: Season 1: Welcome to the Hellmouth, Angel and prophecy Girl
2: Innocense, Passion and Becoming
3: Lover's Lane, Amends, The Prom and Graduation day
4: Pangs, Something Blue, Hush and Restless
5: Fool for Love, Crush, The Body and The Gift
6: OMWF, Tabula Rasa, Smashed, Seeing Red and the Grave
7: Beneath You, Selfless, Storyteller, ...My Parents Told me, Chosen.
These eps are of course just the pinacle of eps, and miles could be written about the greatness of them. Beyond Buffy though, it is definetely Joss Whedon who makes my brain go all pitter patter. Such an amazing writer and director. Buffy and all of his stories will live on forever.
My favorite quote: Be yourself... Unless you suck!

Best show that I have EVER seen!
June 16, 2007
When you hear the name, "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", you don't exatly think that it could be your new favorite show...
If you take the time to watch just one episode though, you will LOVE it!!!
My friends frequently tease me about my obsession with it, but then again they have never been open minded enough to watch some. It is funny, full of action, and even romance. It sets a great example for girls who have never been the most popular or the most beautiful, or the most normal...
Buffy is the best role model for young woman. She even kicks ass!!!!!!
Sarah Michelle Gellar deserves to make it into the TV Show Hall of Fame for this!

It was funny, scary, and interesting to watch. All the characters were amazing. The story line was awesome. Buffy is a kick ass girl.
