Everyone I know
August 20, 2007
I really enjoyed the fast-paced, quickwitted humor and action of this show. All the coworkers that have seen the pilot also thought the show was a new must watch hit. I don't watch series looking for the meaning of life. I watch them to be entertained and in this aspect, this show more than met my hopes. Acutally, I stumbled upon it after becoming a Weeds fan last year. It doesn't hurt that there are hot babes galore.

Love the show

Hank Moody is David Duchovny's best role yet ~ a nuanced, layered portrayal of a basically good guy making very bad choices and being disgusted with himself for them.
He loves his ex and his daughter and more than anything wants to be a family again.
The writing is sharp, witty, smart and clever; the best writing on television. Californication is must-see TV for me. I can't wait until the next episode.

EXCELLENT! I LOVE DAVID D. IN THIS ROLL
August 31, 2007
Clearly the one of the better shows on TV right now. Gives a true idea of a struggling writer coming to terms with his life here and now. What a great looking man!!!!!!!!!!! A very well written script. This show has enough humor and real life in it that I was hooked the first show. It nice to see something that is not all suger coated for us but is part of the real life that we all deal with or know about through someone elses troubles. I hope it has a long running life.

Actually really good
August 13, 2007
For those in the know, the pilot has already leaked online. I thought it was *really* good. If you like the first couple seasons of Nip/Tuck, you'll like this show. Sure, Duchovny takes a lot of plot lines similar to the Christian Troy ones, but theres a lot of potential to expand a rich storyline.

hillarious
September 4, 2007
one of the funniest shows on tv, with a real life feel. all of the characters are absolutely perfect for their parts, especially David who plays a hillarious semi out of work writer who likes women, drugs, his daughter, and his ex. I would recommend this show to anyone with a good sense of humor
