The writing for this show is exceptional and the acting solid, but that's about it. I'm no prude, but does anyone else cringe at the attempts to make this show sexy? None of the characters get the blood cooking, especially not the secretary, Duchoveny's buddy and his wife. Even the sad scenes leave me unaffected prolly b/c no one is likeable on this show. I never laugh at any of the comedy b/c everyone is trying too hard to be smarmy. I understand the importance of character flaws as they relate to plot development, but these folks are just plain sleazy which makes them really unattractive.

this is one of those shows that I just didnt want to end. After every episode i was waiting for it to be the next week so i could watch it again. if you havent seen your missing out on some funny stuff...

Californication is so refreshing that it's highly underrated according to this current list. Each timeless episode is so out-of-the-box and I have a new outlook on the acting perfomance on all of the characters that I'm highly anticipating the release of next season. "Hank Moody", David Duchovny, is not just a character, but a lifestyle to all men of any culture that can relate to his emotions toward the woman of his life and everyday temptations relevant to work and social status..(women, lol). I love this show. David Duchovny makes me smile and cry, makes me happy and sad at some time.
The last episode was awesome.
Run, don´t walk to watch this show. It´s unbelievably good!
David is such an amazing actor. Extremely talented.
